If you don't like it that's fine but that's the whole point of that kind of comedy. Doesn't really mean the ppl making or laughing at it are bad.
@@noox13 I do take one offence where it wasn't a joke. It was one of the American vets who said he's dressed as a terrorist. That was not a joke and he was being serious. But in actuality, he was dressed as an Arab, not a terrorist. He was dressed as an Arab playing a terrorist. Terrorists don't have any special attire that distinguishes them. @@noox13 We can admit to dark comedy, but that doesn't mean TG2 isn't perpetuating harmful representations of Arabic people. Whether the intent is a joke or not becomes negligible once audiences interact with film.
Hello Corridor Crew, I’m unsubscribing to your channel because i found this offensive towards muslims in general. This is not what is Islam represent and this is not what Jihad is/means. You’re giving a group of people a bad name, we’ve got enough media who do that. I thought you were better than this.
Making offensive jokes only really works when you’re in the marginalised or targeted group and it’s self deprecating humour. The vets in your video are obviously okay making dark humour war jokes but I would never think to make those kind of jokes without having a military background. You can’t be a load of American mostly white dudes and go dressing people up as Middle Eastern, make them terrorists, and blow them up - and think it’s okay? Jesus Christ I really really like you guys at Corridor Crew but this video has really shocked me. You would not have gotten away with this if you were UK TH-camrs. It’s highly offensive and not in good taste. Super disappointed and hoping you address this in a future video.
Calling it now. This video is gonna invite some serious shade. The sheer cringe from the edgy middle eastern impressions made the back of my head ache.
Unfortunately intent and impact are two very different things. It kinda doesn't matter what the intent behind the video was to some extent. If it was this obviously offensive to some random white dude (me) imagine how it would feel to someone actually from the middle east.
Jake comes on screen and I immediately skip forward 2 minutes, despite for the first time in forever it wasn't an ad. Thanks for the Pavlovian response.

Eagle 367 they were actively trying to be offensive for demonetisation but I fully understand what you mean. They had no need to use these stereotypes.
Loved the transition from the binoculars to the R.C truck. Laughed harder than i should have at that. I started to question the bombers part, but then i remembered the B.R Coffee dudes were in this. Make what you will of that, i don't discriminate against anyone, this is just entertainment. Enjoy it at face value and appreciate the work these guys put in to do it. Keep up the vids fellas, I'm seriously looking forward to ILM coming on to to a Visual Artist Reacts....hopefully.
I think the fact that you guys used an angry mob of suicide bombers is where the demonetization could come from, too Because of recent events (orange man hit the big button), the video now has all sorts of political and social undertones that made my housemates and I go, “something feels off/wrong about this one..” I understand the comedic aspects of the video, and I liked the tiny phonebook resolution, but the timing it feels inappropriate. Who knows! Could be a totally different feeling in a few months *edit: this is coming from a guy who made a “Boku no Pico” video so I can’t exactly say my opinion is relevant hahaha
I had to look up these Black Rifle Coffee guys a little before pursuing this post. So, I found this article: www.dailydot.com/irl/are-men-ok-coffee/ Of course you can argue that this is a "liberal" news site, but then you could also argue "would a conservative site publish this in the first place"? I am questioning that, perhaps, did the Corridor Crew at some point realize this might have gone too far, not with violence, but with everything else. Maybe someone on staff looked up some background info on BRC or, maybe they noticed the on-set comments referencing racist Islamic stereotypes (Big Habibe???), or looked at the finished product and thought, "Holy crap! We're going to get demonetized for how really racist this is!" I am worried in particular about a few of these points. 1. No one did research on who they were partnering with. 2. No one noticed the racist remarks that were happening on set. This really confounds me because they let the comments make it into the cut for this video! Does that mean Corridor was ok with them? You guys are incredibly talented and amazing! You really, really are. I love this channel and am only bringing these points up in the hope that you think about it next time you make a video with possible political sensitivities. I would argue the same if you were making video with PETA BTW. Also, keep in mind, that MOST of the Hollywood personalities you have worked with in the past would not like Tiny Guns 2. Because of the racism, they would probably like everything else about it.
Hey guys. Love your work and your channel and I get you're trying to get a reaction here and go for "shock" humour. But have you thought about how it's gonna look with a bunch of white dudes running around pretending to be from the middle east? Misusing the word "jihad"? The trope of suicide bombers? Maybe I'm missing part of the bigger picture here and that's why it's not connecting, I get this is just a behind-the-scenes and not the actual video, but it feels a lot like Punching Down humour - and a bit racially insensitive in these fraught political times! Again, not trying to troll or be a hater here, I've watched just about every single one of your videos. This just seems... meaner? than most of your other output, and certainly a lot more politically heavy-handed. Sometimes jokes are just jokes but I can also see how a POC/Muslim could be really offended here? But I wanna give you all the benefit of the doubt - like I say, I love your work and hopefully this is something you've already pondered on and discussed, and I'm just failing to come to grips with your overall vision for the project.
"jokes can be offensive... right?" good thing you don't live in the UK cause making that video would get you arrested and prosecuted for a hate crime ABSOLUTELY no doubt in my mind.
I thought the explosions were real, and then I told myself, there’s no way they would have the time or budget to do that. Then I watched the video, and all I can say is good job guys, your VFXs are way better than some movies coming out today.
JasonParadise: Talks about his anxiety and explicitly says that he's not going to monetize the video on which he has this talk. TH-cam: Nah, this video needs to be demonitized for sensitive content.
Love you guys but what do you mean by dressing up as a terrorist? you remove the detonators and there is absolutely nothing "terroristy" about what they're wearing. I am pretty offended and there was a very weird vibe from those black rifle dudes. wearing traditional middle eastern clothing doesn't make you a terrorist.
I'm usually a big fan of your videos, and I have NO problem with good bit of the old ultra-violence but... the new one just didn't sit well with me. Maybe some of the elements are a bit too real world so it all comes off as just bad taste? So many people, soldiers and civilians, die due to suicide attacks every day that it makes this gung ho, over the top treatment feel disrespectful to me. I mean, would you make a comedy school shooting video?
This video demonetized for putting the words "TH-cam Demonetization" in the title. As discussing the demonetization system of TH-cam gets your video buried and demonetized.
PERFECT IDEA FOR YALL: PLS READ OR I CRY CGI wars: the weapons are keyboards and you have to use CGI to kill others, like make them explode or something, like spawn CGI Mercenaries or stuff like that, and there should be like this one scene with the antagonist vs protagonist and they like duel who can CGI kill the other first

I can't help but feel that this is kiiiinda racist...
Shetland kinda??
Shetland nah
The resolution literally dropped to 144p when Clint said "we'll all be pixels one day"
HILARIOUS STUNT GUYS! HOPEFULLY you confuse the fxck outta the TH-cam management team
Big fan of Corridor but this video is a disgrace. Black Rifle are the worst.
Corridor Crew: We figured out we found the line
TH-cam: *Nervous sweating Jordan Peele meme
Hello Corridor Crew, I’m unsubscribing to your channel because i found this offensive towards muslims in general. This is not what is Islam represent and this is not what Jihad is/means. You’re giving a group of people a bad name, we’ve got enough media who do that. I thought you were better than this.
"Ill be pixels one day... well all be pixels one day" that hit hard
Also, the Black Rifle Coffee guys they partnered with are huge Trump supporters.
@@qwertyuiop42385 No wonder they partnered with the Black Rifle Coffee guys. Look them up, they’re huge Trump supporters.
Don’t know if it crosses the demonization line but man the humor might have passed mine.
Jake comes on screen and I immediately skip forward 2 minutes, despite for the first time in forever it wasn't an ad. Thanks for the Pavlovian response.
So glad I wasn't the only one.
Same
everyone on youtube: numbs their content to not get demonitized
Corridor Crew: LeTs BlOw Up TeRrOrIsTs To SeE If It GeTs DeMoNoTizEd
good video tho lol
I just don't like how they paint the Suicide Bomber, it's making it a big stereotype and they're a part of it. I love corridor but this is just not right.
What stereotypes? That’s literally what they are, lunatics. And it’s funny, plus big bonus
Aren't those dudes at BR Coffee like crazy fascist? It ain't cool to give them any more press to a super gullible and obviously young audience. Not cool, Corridor.
I could see the plot of this video coming from them but not corridor.
TINY GUNS VIDEO COMMENTS: "Are they trying to get demonitzed??"
THIS VIDEO: "No, but actually yes."
I love the auto-generated captions say you're on a quest for "demon thighs."
You're dressed up as an Arab though, not a terrorist. Don't conflate the 2.
There's a bomb strapped on their chest though.
@@XanGious A bomb is a dress? He could've been in a furry costume with a bomb strapped to him. What would he say then? I'm betting he wouldn't say what he said with the Arab toph.
Eagle 367 they were actively trying to be offensive for demonetisation but I fully understand what you mean. They had no need to use these stereotypes.
@@Bing292 I get they were joking but the vet wasn't. No one laughed and he was dead serious
@RADiX POiNT also a bomn isn't a dress.
"That wasn't a planned shot, but we gave it to Peter Franz."
You didn't need to explain any further.
Peter 2017: Animates brains falling out.
Corridor Crew 2017: What are you doing?!
Peter 2019: Big Wick Energy
Corridor Crew 2019: Lol!
TH-cam's Policy line is a squiggle drawn on a white board that can be moved at any time... lmao
Or erased so you can only see a whisper of where it's supposed to be
And the holy Clint did say unto the masses “we will all be pixels one day” and so the scripture was wrote
No.
Amen 🍷
I think the fact that you guys used an angry mob of suicide bombers is where the demonetization could come from, too
Because of recent events (orange man hit the big button), the video now has all sorts of political and social undertones that made my housemates and I go, “something feels off/wrong about this one..”
I understand the comedic aspects of the video, and I liked the tiny phonebook resolution, but the timing it feels inappropriate. Who knows! Could be a totally different feeling in a few months
*edit: this is coming from a guy who made a “Boku no Pico” video so I can’t exactly say my opinion is relevant hahaha
Please don't label these clothes as "terrorist" clothes.
I had to look up these Black Rifle Coffee guys a little before pursuing this post. So, I found this article: www.dailydot.com/irl/are-men-ok-coffee/
Of course you can argue that this is a "liberal" news site, but then you could also argue "would a conservative site publish this in the first place"?
I am questioning that, perhaps, did the Corridor Crew at some point realize this might have gone too far, not with violence, but with everything else. Maybe someone on staff looked up some background info on BRC or, maybe they noticed the on-set comments referencing racist Islamic stereotypes (Big Habibe???), or looked at the finished product and thought, "Holy crap! We're going to get demonetized for how really racist this is!"
I am worried in particular about a few of these points.
As an arab, it is offensive. But i wont take the offence.
"jokes can be offensive... right?" good thing you don't live in the UK cause making that video would get you arrested and prosecuted for a hate crime ABSOLUTELY no doubt in my mind.
What has happened to humanity...
"Let's get demonitized!
*Demonetized
@@jacobf2833 Thanks.
Every time Jake starts talking my brain screams *" Take cover! Here comes an ad read!!"*
I almost died laughing when Mat started yelling stolen valor😂😂
Same here. lol
I thought the explosions were real, and then I told myself, there’s no way they would have the time or budget to do that. Then I watched the video, and all I can say is good job guys, your VFXs are way better than some movies coming out today.
"We'll all be pixels one day" - that's deep man.
0:30 anyone else see amogus watching Sam from behind?
Please react to the Harry potter series CGI
Gooooood idea
"Multiple guys coming at the same time".... that's what she said!
this is the true meaning of living life on the edge lol
im on the set of 'the rookie' as an extra and ive never been so interested in video production, where previously it used to bore me.
corridor crew: blood explosions death
youtube: aw how cute
Captain sparklez: man falls and gets hurt a little
youtube: NANI?
JasonParadise: Talks about his anxiety and explicitly says that he's not going to monetize the video on which he has this talk.
TH-cam: Nah, this video needs to be demonitized for sensitive content.
There is 4 ads... Task failed successfully? I guess?
Love you guys but what do you mean by dressing up as a terrorist? you remove the detonators and there is absolutely nothing "terroristy" about what they're wearing. I am pretty offended and there was a very weird vibe from those black rifle dudes. wearing traditional middle eastern clothing doesn't make you a terrorist.
Damn, this fucked up stereotyping is not something I expected from this crew. Really disappointed.
The was kinda the point of this whole experiment, but you can tell they don't take any of this seriously. As in, they don't mean it, lol.
You guys should make a film that looks like it’s a continuous one shot. Like 1917
YES, I've missed the vlog-style BTS stuff so much. Glad we're getting some more of that.
Just need the disclaimer: "No suicide bombers were harmed during the filming of this video."
“Peter, what are you doing? You’ve lost your mind.”
*The guy with his brains falling out has entered the chat*
This video demonetized for putting the words "TH-cam Demonetization" in the title. As discussing the demonetization system of TH-cam gets your video buried and demonetized.
PERFECT IDEA FOR YALL: PLS READ OR I CRY
CGI wars: the weapons are keyboards and you have to use CGI to kill others, like make them explode or something, like spawn CGI Mercenaries or stuff like that, and there should be like this one scene with the antagonist vs protagonist and they like duel who can CGI kill the other first
Just got a *5-minute* unskippable ad on Tiny Guns 2, so it somehow got monetized.
"It's cause they're clowns" 😂
The line is different based on whether you comply with Google's thought policing or not.
Your first mistake was assuming that there was a line
Honestly, when I saw the actual video with the suicide bombers, I did think "woah, they're pushing the limits of what is _OK_ on TH-cam!". I would never thumb-down a Corridor Digital video, but if it gets demonetized, I would immediately get why.
