    Its always a problem clearing the previously cleared stuff !! Ya never seem to place it in the right place the first time for some reason. It's an age old problem. The grapple is a great too for the job. I have nothing but my choice of loader bucket or forks. A grapple is on my shopping list, but first i have to convert my B3030 to a SSQA. So it'll be a while.
    I gotta tell ya David...you remind me of a 'cross' between Martin @DIY My Way for the videography and Dave @ RCAF Polar Express for being a genuine nice guy !! For sure my friend, for sure.

      Hey Wendell! You know if you fabricated a grapple that would make for some awesome content on Tractorman44! Thank you for the kind words! Martin and Dave are two people that I'm proud to be compared to in any capacity. Martin was the inspiration for my TH-cam channel so you're bound to see some of him in my own work. And Dave really is one (if not the) most genuine and kind people presenting on TH-cam. And I'm very proud to call you my friend as well! Thank you again and have a great week, my friend!

    I would bet that you rate your grapple a Best Buy. It has sure proven to be a worthwhile investment for your property.I would say good choice David.
    Have you considered a grill guard for your tractor? I sure feel that they are worth their weight in gold for the amount of protection they afford your tractors front stuff. Stuff of the really expensive kind.
    Great job David. I am hoping their is a grapple in my near future. You have me sold.

    • @PaleHorseOutdoors
      @PaleHorseOutdoors  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey Gary! I would rate my grapple as THE best buy of all my attachments and implements. I think of a grill guard every time I see one on TH-cam videos and Facebook posts, then my mind filters it out. I was hoping to wait long enough to be able to add some mesh to the branch guard that came with the tractor myself. I think I'll do that this summer once I've used my new welder a few times. I'm looking forward to seeing you get and use a grapple! Take care and have a great week, buddy! 👍😉

    • @PaleHorseOutdoors

      Hey, thank you very much! I appreciate it. I think it would help out for sure, but it may be better to use a broadcast sprayer (3point or cart) to lay down some regular weed control. Is burning an option on your property? I've kinda created a similar situation where I've stacked a bunch of brush and debris (and dirt) in a pile. A lot of it will rot down and compost, but eventually, I'm gonna have to pull the stumps out of the pile that won't decay and burn them. Take care David. B&D

      Hey Brad & Deb, yes as long as we're not in a burn ban - which is most of the year. I bought a chipper originally to take care of that situation but I found out quickly that chipping isn't going to be the route I want to take. @@jpjp3873 The first time I used the chipper down in the forest, it made enough chips to fill a truck bed. And that was from just one large pile of deadfall limbs. That's great if you have a use for them, but at the time I didn't have a use yet or a trailer that would fit through the trails that I could use to move them around. I guess it's a bit of an odd story because I will probably get another one some day, but I was able to sell it for close to what I paid for it and used the money to get things I needed more right now. Bottom line is that I don't plan to use wood chips very often on the land and I would produce HUGE amounts of chips.

    I had the 3rd function kit for my b2601 installed at the dealer before delivery. I notice that the skid steer quick attach handles hit the hydraulic couplings on the loader when bucket is fully curled up. I'm afraid they will get damaged in time. Do you notice anything similar on yours?

    • @PaleHorseOutdoors
      @PaleHorseOutdoors  2 ปีที่แล้ว
