    Great job David, helping God's little creatures. Some of your trails look a little tight, nice manuvering around. Great tractor therapy. Take care and stay safe.

      Thank you, Mike! Yes sir, the trails are about 60" wide like my rake. I've thought about making them wider, but we decided we like the tightly winding trails. It's cozy! 😀

    Nice work David.. we have our own little wildlife habitat.. leftover from a couple felled Cottonwood trees (30’dia.x12’tall). Had another one just like it, that I removed because it was basically on the front meadow, and it was kinda ruining the Mt. Rainier view. I am glad we have a good burn pit, otherwise with all the brush and deadfall, there would be habitats everywhere..lol.
    Enjoy the nice weather this week.

    • @PaleHorseOutdoors
      @PaleHorseOutdoors  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thank you, David! I know exactly what you mean. The piles in the meadow just don't look as nice as the ones in the old forest. I'm still on the fence about whether or not I want a burn pit for the brush. Now that I think about it, I have quite a bit of forest that could hold more brush for the wildlife and still look nice. Great work David, always a good idea to have some structures for wildlife to hide. Just a thought if you place a pile on top of some old logs that would give wildlife a little more room to hide and move around under the pile. That's what the FS does to build wildlife structures in the forest. I noticed you have your 3rd function buttons facing forward. Did you change that or did the dealer set it up that way? Mine is set up facing toward me so I use my thumb to operate the grapple. Just curious if it's easier to operate for you? Take care buddy.

    • @PaleHorseOutdoors
      @PaleHorseOutdoors  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey Kyle, yeah I saw some photos on the WA FS sites about these recently but that was after I made these. Next time I will do that for sure. And I also saw that it helps to partially bury the logs so that certain beetles have a good home as well. The dealer installed it that way so it's all I'm used to. But now that I think about it, facing forward let's me keep a good hold of the stick without moving my thumb so I think it's a good way to go. Thanks for watching, buddy! 😀
