I put coconut oil in my hair once a week and leave it for a day or two and then shampoo my hair , and I'm not even kidding I don't even need a conditioner. It makes my hair glossy, frizz free, healthy and increases volume.

Amber, from the channel Dr Dray here on YT (board certified dermatologist) I learned that there can be allergens in fresh leaves (aloe vera), that get purified out when it is processed into a gel, so it is hypoallergic when you buy it, but not when cut fresh from the plant; be careful on the skin especially. On hair, it really doesn't matter. :) Just FYI!

My hair is fairly straight and grows about 1.5" a month. I use a castor oil/carrier oil 50/50 to regrow hair that I've lost. I also add rosemary it sometimes. The rosemary mimics Rogaine properties. Castor oil stimulates new growth. When I use it as a hair mask overnight twice a week, my hair growth doubles.
As for shampoo/conditioner, I use Wen haircare. This beats everything. My hair is healthy and does not get any split ends. I only have to trim my ends about two inches a year and have not had one split end in over 10 years.

What works for me is blowing out my hair all the time because it tangles less, I noticed that when my hair is cold it will tangle fast. So I keep my hair warm in a bonnet with my ends curled around rollers for a glamorous result + preventing knots.
I wash my hair every 15 to 20 days depends, and i rarely manipulate straight hair I don’t even brush it until wash day where I coat it with oil to make the slip easier.

My holy grail products are Shea Moisture Manuka Honey and Marufa oil Intensive Hydration Leave-in Milk and Shea Moisture Intensive Hydration Masque. My hair loves it so much. It keeps my hair so moisturized so well. I have low porosity, low density hair and these products help so much with growth and don’t weigh my hair down. To strengthen my hair my holy grail products are the Shea Moisture Deep Treatment mask or the Shea Moisture Jamaican Black Castor oil Strengthen and Restore Treatment Masque. With these products, I went from a shaved bald head to past shoulder length hair in a year and a half. I dust my ends every 3 months and only straighten my hair twice a year when I do a proper trim.

Tip to store aloe Vera: scrap all the gel from the leaf and blend it. Put it in a glass jar in the fridge and it'll last about 3-4weeks, or freeze what you won't be using in the meantime.

I love to use self-made flaxseed gel. I used a tutorial from the German TH-camr "Joannas Essentials" who has many amazing recipes for homemade hair products... and she has soo beautiful hair! Her flaxseed gel has also some oils in it and that works great for me, but I think many use this gel without anything else in it :)

I just might try that refresher spray by JBCO. I bought the leave in because of you and it seems to be okay. I bought the whole line before and returned everything...listening to these folks on youtube about having too much protein. It gets so confusing at times. I am learning to listen to my hair needs without overbuying products...but thank you for this video. I look for nutrients for my hair care.

Ik vroeg me af in welke winkel jij jouw producten koop? Thanks girl 💖

Using castor oil on my hair has really changed the game for me. I used to hate it thinking that it was too thick for my hair but honestly, my hair loves it. My hair has never been softer and more moisturized.

    1. Im not sure if people can get this because it's a salon brand but Sébastien Twisted line is AMAZING. I haven't tried the shampoo (bought some online the other day), but have been using the conditioner and mask for about 1.5 months and they have done wonders to my hair.
    2. Camille Rose Aloe Whipped Butter Gel.
    3. Camille Rose Curl Lover Moisture Milk. Makes ever single curl on my hair pop without me doing anything!!!! I can now literally do a wash and go (aka wash my hair and go). Curls define them selves and stay there. No styling or gel needed 👏🏾👍🏾.
I use other products but these are the mains. For an oil to seal Im using melanin...not really a fan, but trying to use up the bottle.
P.S - not sure of my hair type, but im guessing around 4a/4b...medium density...my stands are medium in thickness...low porosity 😁. Hope this helps.

Amber your hair looks nice and healthy and I'm glad you finally found products that work for you. My only problem is that I feel that less is more! In this day and age we spend way too much money on all these natural hair products. I'm old school, our mothers only used 3 products in our hair (shampoo, conditioning & bergamot/blue magic grease) straighten our hair. And our hair was thick and healthy and strong. I buy all my essential oils (7 of them) and my hair is the healthiest its ever been in years. I have sooo many useless over priced hair products that I don't care to use anymore. Good luck on your beautiful healthy hair journey sweetheart!

Well...I use Canvas Beauty Full Bloom, Follicle Booster, Shampoo and Conditioner. It makes my hair so soft and it really conditions the hair very well. For my deep conditioner, I use KCurlsys Fenugreek and Moringa hair smoothie. You talk about soft, moisturized, and de-tangled hair, it is the best!
