Sweet Emotion Live in Boston 05/11/2012 Tracklist: Walkin' The Dog Movin' Out Mama Kin Lover Alot Back In The Saddle Sweet Emotion Walk This Way Oh Yeah Train Kept A Rollin'
I was 12 in 1972 and this new band was playing in my area just south of Boston, called Aerosmith who lived there too, then they blew up soon after that show. So many great songs.
I remember seeing their " Toys In The Attic" tour in 1977 in Seattle. Ted Nugent opened up for them. It was so awesome i remember people were looking open mouthed at each other like," I can't believe what i'm hearing".
Now that was a great live performance, even better than some seventies ones I saw on youtube. Almost as good as Live Bootleg! These guys are genius' in simplicity. They have an album named "Rocks". Their group name is Aerosmith. Aerosmith Rocks Yes, they most certainly do!
Quilted Pine One of the better one's i've seen. Especially the beginning. Must have been them playing at home. Getting that just right on the talk box ain't easy man.
Being from Boston area Worcester aka “Wistah” the Bad Boys from Boston played everywhere & anywhere up there. I’ve seen them live 3 or 4 times in the late 70’s & early 80’s
All throughout their history, stoned, straight or in-between, when this band is really on, there's not many that can touch them live... and I'm an old fart; I have seen them all.
No doubt, the jam out at the end was incredible. Kramer's drum licks remind me of the last couple minutes of Hearts Doin Time from their Permanent Vacation album.
If anyone out there can find them playing this on SNL, let me know. (it was around '94 i believe) I have seen them a few times, and seen a lot of versions, and they really killed it when they played on there. I don't know why i can't find it anywhere. Probably contractual shit. It was such a great performance.
It was here indeed, although I remember it was recorded in 1993. But could be 1994, my mistake. Nevertheless it really was a great rude version, they blew out every speaker. But I cant find it anymore also, really a loss.
@@PAULLONDEN no, not silly at all; most people in the city have forgotten about the basics of nature (where's north, how to red the stars, the time looking at the sun, etc)
Can anyone tell me what that tube is Joe Perry was using at the beginning of the song? Is it hooked up to the guitar or amp? If that's what creates that ghostly sound to start off the song....awesome
Aerosmith is very creative in this vid with how they use perspective out on comm ave in beantown or somewhere like that lookin down some tracks that are obviously still in frequent use. See the glint of the sun reflected by the shiny rails. They flirt with disaster like Molly Hatchet or something.
70 yr old rockers play better than 20 year olds .. unreal..
Thats normal ..
