    I have been a CFI since 1978, an AGI since 1980,and a CFII since 1981 and I have never heard the VOR explained this way. It really is a simple, and easy, way to absolutely know where you are when using a VOR ! I have been lucky in all of my instructing years and not had a student that I had difficulty teaching VORs to them, but this will now be my go-to method of teaching the VOR to all of my future students ! Thanks so much for this method !

    Great tip! VORs are more confusing than I expected, but GIFs clarifies things a bunch!

    WOW ... that was so AWESOME .. THANK YOU for sharing that information. I'm a student pilot, 61yrs old and 54 hours logged. Anything that helps make the learning easier to comprehend and digest gets two thumbs up in my book. : ) Again, a big THANK YOU from CYQT.

    Amazing. This VOR to/from flag stuff for me is a brain teaser, but your technique is a home run for understanding

    just wow!! that's amazing explanation but I have a 1 question, is there any way to determine crossing radial using this method?

  • @pilotmedic
    @pilotmedic ปีที่แล้ว

    In your 50/50 question the radial is coming from the 90 degree and the needle is from, how come you are in the 360 degree radial?
