Love your fabric color. You have talent. I loved the denim color. I may give that a try. Always enjoy watching you dye. Happy stitching...

Hi Angela! This was a helpful video. I have not tried dyeing fabric yet, but I plan to give it a go soon. I think I need to watch some more videos to perfect the process...there seems to be many variations with many different end results. I think it will take several tries. Sounds fun! Wish me luck please!
    Happy Stitching! Samantha

Thanks for the video… the fabric looks awesome! Do you wash your work after you’ve done stitching on your hand dyed fabrics?

    • @AngelaStitches

Hi! No, I'm planning on not washing them but even if i wash it now I don't think it'll bleed because I made sure to wash out any excess dye :) Happy stitching!

Great video! Do you experience shrinkage in your fabric dyeing process? In other words, if you start with a 40 ct, after it's dyed, is it still 40 ct or do you find that it becomes a higher count after the process? Thank you!

Hi! Thank you! No actually, because I make sure that I don't keep my dye boiling or too hot. So instead I keep it in longer if I want the colors to be dark, but so far 20-30 minutes seems to be enough to get the colors I want. I just keep the temperature warm and I think that helps with the shrinkage. I dyed my 32 count before to shrink it to 34 with boiling hot dye so for 40 counts I usually don't have it boiling hot and it stays 40 count after. I hope this helped! :) Happy stitching!
