I am 16 years old and out of school on summer break right now and I am currently working on my own, 'Zombies Ate My Neighbors' spin-off game. I have been studying and learning more about how to hack and create my own games. I've gotten pretty good at it. But again, I am still learning. I have some questions for you, if you don't mind and have the time. Could you please tell me, what HXD hacks you are using to change the opening sound affects, the music on the main menu and to change the coloring of the sprite pallets?? I am also interested in knowing how to randomize the weapons and how to do the reverse cycling. It would really mean a lot to me, to know so I can finish my project before Summer's end! 😊 Thank you for your time! I would really appreciate the information on these hacks. Thank you! I play this game on the computer. A b c or x y keys do not work for changing weapons and items. I have to finish previous weapons to change. I cannot use the lives I use at all. How can I do that?
@55 Cancrie You could use a SNES USB controller and set up the controls like that or an Xbox 360 Wich is what I use and set it up like it as it is really close to the SNES Controller in a way and when using keys set it up like this Up: Up arrow Key Down: Down Arrow Key Left: Left Arrow Key Right: Right Arrow Key Start: Enter Select: Left Shift L: D R:C A:x B:Z X:S Y:A See how this works I am confused about the Life part
Some days ago i played Bread, Sky's, Oh no! and The Sequel. Now i want to play Zombies And The Squeleton Keys but i don't know how install correctly that rom. :( I hope you can play Squeleton Keys and explain how install correctly the rom. PD: I love your ZAMN gameplays. Thanks to your videos I went back to play one of my favorite games of my childhood but with many more levels and difficulty.
Franklin, unfortunately, the ZAMN: Skeleton Keys hack is incomplete and the levels are all glitched up. Basically, the levels are the same with just a few tiles rearranged and messed up, and levels crash.
I agree, that is one thing that makes 2 player so hard in this game, the fact that you have to stay on screen with each other at all times. If they had done it like ToeJam and Earl on the Genesis did, it would be better I think.

If there were any way to play Zombies Ate My Neighbors 2 player split screen, it would hands down be my favorite game.

It's a shame Ghoul patrol isn't HALF AS GOOD as rom hacks. Rom hacks make better sequals than Ghoul patrol
