Yeah, as far as neighbor placement goes, this one may be easier than the original, but this hack is way harder when it comes to player survival because of the monster spawns.
Tourist werewolves and neighbors in the path of giant babies are the bane of completionists, especially if they're playing without savestates. Everytime I see a soldier next to a bazooka I'm like "THERE'S A BAZOOKA RIGHT THERE! WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR?" But no, he'd rather stay put right there, consequences be damned.
When I was 8 or maybe 9 I had this game as a kid. I remember perfectly writting on a sheet of paper what would I add to the game and what I would do when I learn how to create videogames. I remember I used to want so much a game and stuff and I remember writting titles, between those titles the one I most remember is "Dr tounge revenge" ( I did not know much english at the time, but I knew the word revenge due videogames). Great work, I love all of it!!
Writing this comment at 25:00 but this romhack looks stressful as h e l l. XD Like, there are so many clutch moments in this one that it ain't even funny. Despite being advertised as "more forgiving" than the OG ZAMN, every victim looks like they're in the tightest possible spots.
Yeah, when I was making it I intended it to be more forgiving and I actually think I succeeded as far as victim placement goes. However, after playing through this hack multiple times, this one is significantly harder than the original as far as surviving yourself because of the spawning.
@@Skyhurricane89 I don't think it's possible to beat this without leaning heavily into The Crucifix..... Like, 31 Medkits and 10 monster potions would be excessive in the original but here it doesn't feel like enough.
Nice playing, so many close shaves that I don't think I could've managed to make work. 100% all victims saved is definitely a big deal for a hack as difficult as this is. Also you designed the levels? I read the thing in the credit level right, didn't I?
Yes, I did all the level designs for this hack with a few levels having some inspiration from some other previous hacks such as the Oh No! hack. Sorry for the late reply!

You know the base game is hard when you look at a ROM hack and as far as you know it looks similar in difficulty to the original.
