Forgot to mention guys, when you first start the game you might get a few errors. There is a thread in the discord that will help you solve these errors or ask in the questions channel. Most often its because one of the ini files needs to be replaced, and DirectX runtime needs to be installed especially if trying to play on High Grade.
Should probably pin this comment if ya want others to see it, that way anyone with this issue can easily figure out where to go and what to do. Or you could also just put it in the description~

Note, you can add the folder exclusion before turning off the antivirus if you just make a new folder before extracting and add that new folder to the exclusions list. That way you don't have to turn off the antivirus while extracting and it'll still work. If you don't like having a folder in a folder, you can just extract the files that are in the zipped folder directly to the new folder you made already

Hi so I have a steam deck and when I get to anti virus part I’m not sure what to do cause on the steam deck it doesn’t show any anti virus in the setting
So i logged in and everything worked but when i tried to play at a later time is saying "Failed to transfer data from server. Please relog." Any fixes?
Yes, there is a controller guide in Rain, but usually people use Steam or XInputPlus for xbox controllers. Some people are lucky and a usb 360 controller might work natively.

I've done everything and I can play the game, but when I connect my Ps4 controller the sound and music disappear. I tried changing the sound settings from the PC, but it's not working. Does anyone know how to fix this?
I have not tried the game yet and idk if you already solved it, but PS4 and PS5 controllers are annoying because they have speakers on the controller. Whenever you connect them to a PC, windows will automatically change the sound output to the controller speakers. You need to change the sound output on windows and make sure to just disable the controller speaker driver on windows so it never automatically changes wheneve you connect the controller. I hope that helps if you still haven't solved it! Edit: also in some games you will need to restart the game for it to work again. This might be the case with MH frontier
Yes, I had to change the sound output and some settings until it finally fixed. Also, the main problem that I was having was with the playstation button on the controller. If you press it while connected to your pc, the game will mute and you won't be able to change the sound settings until you leave the game. Thank you for the advices!

I asked on the discord a guy said you might just have to wait/be patient which im fine with doing if its the only way but I was gonna ask if you ever seen that before or know a way to by pass it maybe if not all good.
@@LeapsGaming if its frame generation then it's no good because it makes it worse, i'm guessing that's what it will be. I suffer with motion sickness with high input lag. i feel sick after a few mins if playing, its like travel sickness, but it doesn't bother some people so i dont expect people to understand. still i wanted to ask because i wish i could play it.
@@ricky_pigeon I have no idea myself, but I do think it is frame generation since actually increasing fps causes things to be wonky. Base game is capped 30fps
@@LeapsGaming The PSP versions have FPS hacks, but i'm guessing this version has the AI or some other timers tied to the frame rate. Thankyou for answering anyway.
Update I got it to show in desktop mode, but then experienced difficulties.. currently don’t have a pc cuz I’m building a new one so I’m trying on my Mac.. if anyone knows how to run on steam deck effectively lmk

It is safe, the three links are the same file. Its a modified exe so some antivirus protection just detects it as that. If you search in the discord this has been brought up before, its a false positive. The official signatures for the executable are long expired
Yes, but for Rain specifically, registering/binding after helps if you end up having trouble with logging in, or if you have questions about the game, and you get other benefits like bounties/participation in Raviente raids

You can skip the register step, and use the bind command later! Register is just slightly more convenient

Whats the specs required to play the game?
I know this sounds like a stupid question but am playing on 2019 laptop that jas aged quite a bit.
The game started in 2007 so you should be fine, might have to play without High Grade Edition graphics, but overall should be fine.
