19:47 - One thing to note. The Poogie Farm Ticket needs to be in your item pouch to be redeemed. Caused me a bit of confusion when I did a few hunts in-between me completing the Navi it and trying to Get the Points. Made me think I managed to lose the ticket to the void somehow. Yo! Great to see some more proper in depth guides on progression, are you planning to do one on g rank eventually? It’s equally as important to give people more of a straightforward experience when plopped into g rank as there’s lots of things in the navi(commonly suggested to be followed fully) that shouldn’t be focused on outside of finishing single milestones, like not focusing on g supremacy weapons, the importance of my mission for damage cap increases and so on. So much more crap , but it’d be dope to see as someone struggling to find a straightforward progression to gr200 who’s made a lot of mistakes on focusing on dead or irrelevant mechanics that could’ve been avoided with more proper guidance. Thanks!

I have a redeem points and a get points options, and when I click on get points it just exits out of the vendor so I can’t redeem my tickets Edit: I just went on a whole goose chase but my bundled schema weren’t implemented correctly because my shop items in my sql database were out lf order, problem fixed though I was able to re-implement the bundled schema and now I can exchange my gcp tickets
I Just got a question: I did reach HR5 and wanted to claim my rewards but the Notification on the screen told me that i had no space in my Inventory/Storage and so it was send to the temporary storage. I went there and took the consumables but i cannot find the armor or the material for the Gou weapon. Can someone tell me where i can find them now ?
@@lucagebhard7239 Yeah so that doesn’t work. You will have to upgrade your box/house then ask a mod or admin in the discord and they can reset it for you. Then you can claim the items again and they will appear in your box.
finally hr5, still completely lost lmao. do i have to do anything related to the caravan? should i start crafting deco? what kind of armor do i have to start looking for out of the exotic narga chest for evade ? what's the diva thingie i have in my hunter navi that i have no clue how to start? the G quest from the 2nd npc in the middle of the square, are they of any use since they are delivery quest? i think i forgot to use my ticket for "my mission", but damn hr5 is tough, with the gifted armor, i got one shoted by almost every monster attack, i have to use armor seed, armor drugs, get the best plate i can if possible with a lil def boost, i could beat the last espinas quest on hr5 in order to craft a gunner deco that give 10artillery point, and discovered it couldn't fit my armor slot, so i took a sr something helmet with absolutely 0 resistance on any element just so i could use it XD (and this took me 24 minutes.. AND i had to do it 5 times before having those damn FWYVERN TAIL XD ...) send help please 8D
@@mathieu499 for HR5 there are armors recommended in the actual document. Don’t need to worry about caravan. Any questions I would ask in Rain discord.
Man is there a way to change UI size? Having a high res monitor all the text is so tiny I can't read a damn thing without leaning in. Honestly I can't even find an option in the launcher to choose which monitor the game gets sent to and I'd rather not window mode
@@Tankotater Unfortunately no, the UI is determined by resolution. You can change which monitor it is on by having your cursor on the monitor you want when it opens, there is also the Windows command to change which monitor it displays on after you open the game I just don’t remember the keys xD
Is there any point at which the pacing of the game's progress slows down at all and acts more like a regular MH Game? it seems a bit overwhelming how the game is trying to rush you through the Hunter Ranks.
@@Steve-in1sb Depending on how you play G rank, then it will slow down there. You can speed it up too, but you will spend a lot more time in G rank than Hr1-7. Have to remember the game was an MMO and originally HR was 1-999, but was reduced in live servers to catch new players up to G rank where the majority of new content was.
25:10 This glow is from Gou weapon Mind's Eye boost It can't be Gou armor boost in this quest since you have the given Coord FY (or coord hs) which give def boost at best on hardcore quests when upgraded to Coord hs levels (a boost frontier-only monsters or some event armors from low/high rank upgraded to hr5-hr6 hardcore tier get (excluding frontier-only subspecies armors which are like non frontier-only subspecies armors, meh)) hs boost is +100 Def and 1hp regeneration per second when you have more than half you health and 50 stamina with 5 pieces equiped on hardcore quests and a bonus 30% Damage Reduction if you are on a hr5 or higher hardcore quest. (Source Fist Guide corrected by me checking weapon/armor/quest combinations) Supremacy quest being hardcore quests you might want to try this boost When you have Gou skill boost effect you have a weird symbol with a blueish outline appearing on the weapon symbol left to your Name (in this example VideoGuide's LS) (same place as vigorous/adrenaline symbols that you see on Legendary Rastas) Armor and weapon boosts are shown on page 6 and 7 of your equipment status (and greyed out when quest requirements aren't met)

@@ricky_pigeon there is a weird way with a frame gen scaler file that got made. Im really not sure if it bugs out anything but people have said it works. Check Rain Frontier server
I do not know if it is rain specific, but you should get it when you talk to the guide npc right to the right when you enter the game, and claim items from them. Then it should appear in your box. If it does not you can ask for help in rain discord, or use hope armor and make rath armor yourself
hey thnx for the guide, basically answered allmost all i didnt get from the other one i watched XD Only remaining question is, how do u choose your weapon while going through this, i play gunlance, and these bad boi at every upgade change their shell type.. so i've been upgrading one to play fullburst on normal, and i reached a dead end where my only option now is an upgrade to a Long shell type : ( i'm HR 4 with a 392dmg normal 2 GL and green sharpness and have no clue if i should push through with it, or actually get a new weapon heh ^^"
I have not used Gunlance, I usually go with whatever has highest raw for weapons though. Ask in the rain discord, Im sure someone knows what to aim for with gunlance before g rank
How do i get the controls to play like monster hunter controls. For some reason I can't get them to work. Can't seem to find it in the input options where i can play it where square is my attack and more the camera with the right analog.
@@Arod40 Make sure you set it to portable controls. For other controller specifics check the guide document/ask in rain discord. Controller is unfortunately not my area of expertise.
hello my friend... i can see you have a playstation controller connected. i picked up this game aswell however i can only play with mouse and keyboard. if i plug in my controller nothing hapens when i push buttons or move analogue sticks. its so bad that i fainted once to yian kut ku who is never difficult, but with mouse and keyboard it makes it just almost unplayable. can you help me? if not, at least thank you for making a guide on how to install this lost monster hunter tittle.
You need to go into setting and input options and get the the menu where it shows all the button configurations, you wanna go to the second drop down menu at the top and select the second option
@stormoceaninslowmotion Disbale Simple Controls, and then go to controller settings and set it to Portable type. Then you might need to calibrate your analog sticks. Should work. As a note I actually use an Xbox controller, but the inputs are shown in PlayStation type lol

@ if your using an Xbox controller you might need to use Steam or XInputPlus to get it to work. It works with mine natively so might not need to use those as well. Rain Discord has a trouble shooting guide for the different controllers.
There is no single player scaling, but you can play it solo, and there are npcs that can accompany you on quests. Late gate you will have to get help from others for road, but thats late g rank/you can coordinate in game for that.
Like it didnt give you the tickets? Cause it gives you tickets to your box to turn in. If it didn't try spamming the talk option for Poogie points, you can spam it to get 20 points at HR4/5/6 and GR1 iirc
@@Dastardly_Duo Tickets are in your box. I think you mean Tore points? Cause Tickets give you either 10 or 30 Tore points to spend at the Tore. So I would check your box for a '30P' ticket. If you still having problems ask in rain discord

is this game still running at locked 30 fps? i suffer with motion sickness when the response time is high so that's why i ask.

Do i get the rathalos armor as a reward from the gear acquisition quests too or as a gift or something? Because i dont have one in my equipment box

Do you have to use a bento before every quest? My game won't let me start any quests without it.
No you do not need to use bentos, but they are helpful. You should be able to start without them

That should be under Special Combine at the Combo npc if you are playing on Rain server. You do not need to combine it yourself!
