  • Are we aware of what’s happening? As we speak amongst a Muslim Minority, called The Rohingya, in the land of Burma/Myanmar? Where our own brothers and sisters have been suffering for a while now.
    In this Khutbah, Shaykh Dr Yasir Qadhi provides some background knowledge as we need to know who they are and what’s going on, as we cannot help unless we understand their situation.He leaves us with some advice on how we can help those suffering.
    Who are The Rohingya?
    The Rohingya, they are one of the smallest ethnicities, who are predominantly Muslims. They are a descendants of a civilization that used to have a Kingdom over 500 years ago. Some of them converted to Islam while the majority didn’t. Those who converted are called The Rohingya.

      Yes I agree with this, but how?? We're do we start??
      We need a true khilafa that fallows the Quran and the Sunnah correctly. There are fake Muslims these days doing crimes that are against our believes.
      InshaAllah soon we will see the true Muslims who will safe the whole world, from the bad evil leaders of today.

    Excellent khutba, and may ALLAAH act upon your ad-dua for the suffering, oppressed men, women, and children so courageous in Burma, as my prayers are combined with the khatibs prayers, because ALLAAH LOVES AND WILL DEFEND THE BEST OF MANKIND, without doubt! And, i shout the same about the insane acts that took place in Egypt yesterday! ALLAAHU AKBAR! It really takes courage and commitment to serve and represent the One Lord of the heavens and the earth, so i urge each one of us to continue to maintain taqwa, tawakkul, Eman, and real courageous love for ALLAAH, for Rasoolullaah, pbuhiim, and each and every Believer chosen by ALLAAH as we teach our fellow humans how our CREATOR has meant for us to live on this earth, without doubt.

    Thank you for this, Dr. Qadhi. I do remember seeing news footage in 2012 of the horrors going on to the Rohingya. I thank you for your information about then and what has since happened. I have read whatever I can find on Twitter and the little media coverage and mostly video from humanitarian organizations. I try to retweet and post whatever I find onto Twitter and will continue posting fundraising information. We will be donating and praying for the Rohingya. Thank you for everything you do to inform us of events all over the world. Although I am not a Muslim, I view your videos and have been learning a lot about Islam. Thank you so much.

    Oh Ummah of Muhammad pbuh where are you? To the Muslim leaders of the Muslim world where are you? Oh Mujahids where are you? Your brother and sisters are being slaughtered like lamb, to a barbecue, as they gather round us to have a feast with no, one to defend us, and you are being distracted, by this Dunya. My heart cries, at the state of the Ummah, when will we learn, what would our nabi say seeing the state of us today. Ya Rabbul alimeen unite the Ummah of our rasool, let us rise up from the ashes of our down trodden ways, punish those Muslim leaders, who are incapable of responding and do nothing but sell the blood of their brothers, grant us a leader, of integrity, and piousness, who lead us from the darkness into the light and make us become what we once were.

    We should not forget that Bangladesh has provided space and is providing a great support to the Rohingya people. Here people of Bangladesh are doing as much as they can to provide relief to those unfortunate people. Local imams, muslims are visiting them and making great efforts in relieving their pain. Hindus also cut their expenses and provided relief. Bangladesh is a developing nation, over populated state and it has its own sets of bigger problems to deal with. We need more support from the whole world. Children and women are more in vulnerable state as they lost their families.

    My dear Muslim brothers and sisters. The story is more complex than the simple description in this video. This region Arakan was a part of Bengal in ancient times, like Maurya Empire and hence the people in Arakan looked just like the people in other parts of Bengal. The rulers were Hindus who were fond of Buddhism and hence Buddhist structures.
    The ancestors of these Rohingya have been there more than 500 years. Islam came to Arakan coast before the ancestors people who are called Buddhist Rakhines entered the Arakan region in 10th century. The Hindu dynasty was deposed. Rakhine Buddhists

    To all the muslims watching this video - do not engage with the trolls, they're posting their comments to both get an angry reaction from you and to insult you further, report their post (i.e. right click on 'report post' and then click on the 'hate speech' option) and the number 1 I'd report would be the posts of 'ex-something-like pork' and 'pratap street-s*itter'.

    الرسول عليه الصلاة والسلام قال " انصر أخاك ظالما أو مظلوما" no matter who are the rohinga or where they're from we have to support them because they're Muslims. We have to send them weapons to fight back, even go fight with them. Especially the Muslims who live near the rohinga people. I bet once the Mujahideen go there everyone will start talking about it and the West will take interest in the problem, and will end up blaming muslims.

    Salaam, why did u not mention fighting against the Burmese army/ military intervention??? If this is not a time for jihad then when is??? I'm so frustrated that this is never mentioned when this topic is discussed.... there r over a billion Muslims world wide, by Allah's will we have d numbers, why r d Muslims figures and leaders of the world or Muslim communities in d west and around d world not organising a military intervention to evacuate our robingyan muslim brothers and sisters asap???? My question must be adressed, I feel that it is not enough to try n simply say that d matter is out of our hands and all we can do is impact our nearby community... wat kind of attitude is that? This is supposed to be 1 ummah, united. We need to try and help each other by any means necessary, surely this is necessary??? (And to any ppl who r being oppressed in such a way)

      Muslims never Believe in UN.. lslam is ANTI- HUMAN RIGHTS. 98% countries under SHARIA are not UN signatories of 1957 or 56 geneva Convention. Saudia, lran, lraq, Kuwait, Egypt, morocco, libya, Tunisia, lndonesia, Malaysia, Pakistan, afaghanistan, sudan, somalia, djibout, bahrain, arab emirates, oman, Qatar, syria etc are members of UN but refused to sign the declaration to respect human rights because by signing violates lslam sharia whereby the Convention mandates that every human is born equal and his human rights must be protected like free thinking, freedom of religion..speech, Liberty, men and women are equal etc---All these UN basic human rights are incompatible with lslam. lslam Believes woman are lesser humans, lslam dont Believe in freedom of religion..Islam is anti-freedom of speech...So UN cant help everybody..Muslim countries are only member countries but refused to sign the UN declaration of human rights because quran is best for muslims at all times not man made human rights. But quran has failed to solve muslim problems in 1450yrs..lts chaos

    DNA and even less advanced blood or bone tests show racial differences, but religion is not race.
    As Burma, Myanmar was like many other colonial areas in that societal problems were either not dealt with or brought
    Actually, there are 16 branches of Buddhism, but the Buddhi Yoga that predates it had more, but tended to lack to fanaticism.
    The Theravada Buddhist branch known as Bamar or other religious majorities should not be allowed to enforce their religion upon the people or oppress those they do not approve.
    Arakhan accepting Islam and being Rohingya doesn't change their heritage. We see that same sort of ill thought in the West.
    Tibetan monks are trained in Theravada Buddhism and then Mahayana, but Vajrayana Buddhism mixed with Bon is closer.
    The lack of people no longer being religious or even observant leads to the violations in other areas and prevents there from being a truly religiously motivated government.

    There is more history to the Rohingya which you did not cover! They date back to the 6th century in Arakan and they were originally Hindus and Buddhists just like south Asia and the rest of southeast Asia used to be. 90 per cent of them converted to Islam in the 9-16th century via traders they were in contact with. THEY ARE STILL THE SAME PEOPLE. The whole of southeast used to be ruled by south Asian people- even the Chinese called it an “extension of India”. The Rohingya are native to Arakan and the current Burmese population and everyone else yellow and Mongoloid in Southeast Asia came from China! The indigenous people are Melanesian- Papua people and south Asians (mainly from the southern, eastern and central part of India) migrated in huge waves- this is seen in their culture; clothes, food, ancient empire and even language slightly. The Burmese call the ‘bengali’ or invader because when the bursting rules India, they brisugh people from west bengal(India) and eastern bengal(Bangladesh+parts of Assam) to work in Burma- particularly Arakan! Some remained ans assimilated with the Arkansas population and others moved back. THERE’S A LOT MORE TO THE STORY PLEASE STUDY ANCIENT SOUTHEAST ASIAN HISTORY AND SOUTH ASIAN TO KNOW MORE.

    • @Midnight-og3rk
      @Midnight-og3rk 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      The current Chinese Burmese call the Rohingya that are Muslim ‘Bengali’- implying they came from Bangladesh. And the Rohingya that are Hindu/Buddhist as “Indian”. How stupid of them😂 there are interviews with Rohingya telling us about there stories which are about how many of them used to be hindus or Buddhist but then converted to Islam. So by the no brain cells of the Burmese, they Rohingya went from Indian to Bengali from switching their faith? How stupid they are! And they say every Chinese person is intelligent🙄

    • @Midnight-og3rk
      @Midnight-og3rk 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      They’re worshiping a Buddha who has Conrows😂 and they’re still so racist towards people of darker skin. I’ve never seen a Chinese person with hair like that. It’s obviously a papua/mixed man depicted in a lot of their statues as Buddhism derived from Hindustan which was brought to south east Asia even parts of east Asia form the Indian subcontinent. So all the cultural and religious influences still remain.

    • @Midnight-og3rk
      @Midnight-og3rk 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      How are they going to treat the people that descend from the traders and emperors who have given them all that they wear, eat and thrive under so cruelly! Clearly the Burmese/Chinese are related to yajuj and majuj- the only explanation of their Evil nature.

    • @Midnight-og3rk
      @Midnight-og3rk 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      How day they dictate who lives on what land when the Rohingya were there before them! They are the indigenous people of Arakan, I’ve studied for 6 years on southeast Asian and south Asian history THIS IS THE TRUTH. The Chinese Burmese are the invaders, the same way the displaced the Papua/Melanesian people of Southeast Asia. May the seven grounds of the earth swallow these tyrants, the way Allah ordered the ground to swallow the tyrannous people of the past. May the sea swallow them for every escape our brothers and sisters had to make from over 5 decades of oppression. May Allah send a rocket of fire down onto them for every flesh of our brothers and sisters they have burned. And May the be turned to stone like the ones the worship, the same way people do the past were turned to stone. Allahuma-Ameen.
