The sun only rises directly EAST on the March and September equinoxes. In winter it rises in the SE (which you observed) and in the summer it rises in the NE. The equinoxes are the days when it's sunrise position passes right through East. Likewise it sets in the SW in winter and NW in summer. Love your videos, keep it going!
