    Amazing what a nice clean edge does for a lawn. Happy custumer equals happy gardener. Good job 👍

    I use a straight shaft strimmer as well .I find that you have more control with it . Good job.

      Thanks for watching, totally agree with you , I used to have a bent shaft . Much more difficult to use and control.👍🏻

    Should serve you well Rob. I have used handle bar strimmers for more than half my life so when I use those it feels uncomfortable as I’m that used to them. Good review.

    Looks a good bit of kit. The straight shaft strimmers are so much better, in my opinion, to bent shaft. I personally prefer 4 stroke machines. Less buzzy. Quieter, more fuel efficient and generally last longer. That's why I go for Honda. But each to there own. Stihl are a trusted brand who's equipment does stand the test of time.

      @maxwellsgrasscuttingservices  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks for the comment Gary. I agree the straight shafts are better and offer more control. I looked at the Honda a few years ago, I remember it being very heavy.
      In my humble opinion, you can’t beat Stihl for quality.
      All the best.
      Rob.👍🏻

      @@maxwellsgrasscuttingservices yup. Totally agree about weight. They are quite heavy. But it's something I've got used to. Like everything. It's each to there own. Stihl for some. Honda etc for others. It's just what works best for you.

      I was about to buy a honda but the 70r just came out with the speed load head so I ended up going with the stihl.

    Hi Rob, good to see new videos coming through from you again. I'm just getting my kit together and popped down the sthil shop who wanted to sell me the FS 91 which is alot more expensive. Your strimmer is obviously the one to have however not sure wether to go for the handle bar version over the loop handle?. Many thanks.

      Bicycle handlebar for mowing large areas where a mower wouldn't be safe or can't get to and brushcutting. Loop handle for trimming, edging and other regular lawn care duties. I have had both and love them for what they do. Edging can be done with a bicycle handlebar trimmer but is quite a pain and really can't be done fast. Ideally one of each when it is affordable. You can do more with the loop handle but can be dangerous to run a metal clearing blade due to kickback.

    Great video as usual Rob, do you ever wear a face sheild while using your strimmer? I always wear one with built in ear protection as you only ever get one set of eyes, must admit got whacked twice in face just under visor on 2 different gardens last week, so wouldn't be without face shield mate

    Hi Rob, quick one. What fuel do you use in this strimmer?
    I’ve heard ethanol free is best, but that’s more difficult to find in uk, or at least seems to be 😂👍
    Hope you’re well
    Thanks
