FS 94 is all I have been using for my lawncare business for a long time. Power and weight cant be beat..... ive been using black diamond string . Been very happy with it this far .
Dang Davey! Your spitting out the videos now. The string I use I’m very happy with, made by echo I believe it’s .95 and not round more of a square shape with nubs. Those bees are plentiful this year . I had one right by the garage where the wife hangs laundry. I use the spray foam kills the whole nest. Great video Buddy keep em coming and thanks for sharing 🚜💪🐝
Thanks Dave! I’m trying to get back into it haha, finding a little bit of time for the moment :) I’ll have to check out that line, I know what I’m using now is junk for the heavier stuff. Hope all is well buddy, take care!
I was weed wackin around some boards up against a chain fence of course i hit the fence and the last piece of sting came off,i start taking the head off to put more line on and never new i hit the damn yellow jackets nest 2 seconds prior. I got lit up 7 times . Threw all the parts in my hand and bailed out lol. The next day first job of the day i got it again 8 times by them lil bastards.
Ahh dang that's the worst haha. I always find myself going over the nest and be fine but it always seems like I end up going back over them without knowing 3-4 min later and getting stung.
Thanks for sharing with us Dave, that’s a great weed trimmer for sure. Hope you can get those yellow jackets before they get the little ones. Stay safe and keep up the good work. Fred. 🙏🏻🙏🏻👍👍👏🏻👏🏻👋👋
Thanks Fred, the trimmer sure works great. Makes the thick stuff easy work! Ahh those darn bees, I keep finding them which usually means I keep getting stung haha. I appreciate the comments, take care my friend!
High octane :) always had worked for me! Yes they really annoy me, it always seems you never see them until it’s to late! Thanks for watching, take care
Just can't beat a Stihl. Ive got two, an old FS 80 which is probably 30 years old and I bought a FS 90 20 years ago. I'm 60 and hopefully they'll outlast me. They just keep going. Stihl chainsaws are reliable too. BTW I always use Stihl brand string 0.110". They recommend .090" but the 110 is heavier and normally outlast a tank of fuel.
That’s good to hear Dean! Yes I have one of my dads first Stihl trimmers and it just needs a priming bulb, worked fine up untill last year when that cracked! I think I’m going to get some .110, I’m certain that will work great. Thanks for the feedback, take care!
Yes, thanks! I’ve gotten this line since and won’t be buying anything else. Sure is a good quality line. I appreciate ya watching and commenting. Take care 🤠

I use the Stihl 2.4 mm/ .095 line it works great and I don’t use up/waste a lot of line like you do with the cheaper thin stuff. 👍👏😎
Thanks, yes I’m going to have to get some of that! I’m sure it performs much better than this junk haha. Take care!
Good video. I’m dealing with some ground bees myself. They’re a pain. Only I can’t burn it cause it’s right next to the house.
Thanks Ken, ah man yes that’s a different story haha. Best of luck with them to ya! Take care
Bengal dust will get them
Twisted stihl line is really good I use it on an Fs 38

between 8:30 and 9:00 you were into a tree with large leaves. what kind is it?
I’m fairly certain that is a hackberry tree! I’ll have to look closer but I believe that’s what it is :)
I use .105 in my 94r it seems to handle it very well.
Thanks for watching, yes that is what I have switched to and it makes for some good cutting and long life!
Use the Stihl red .105 with line in it. Like a twist almost. That stuff just works and works
Good to know! Thank you 🤠
