My recommendations
Tribit stormbox micro 2 - $60 - 8/10 -
A really great sounding speaker at an affordable price and also very compact. Perfect for biking or the beach.
In addition, an application with an equalizer and a battery indicator is available
Soundcore Motion 300 - $80 - 7/10 -
Great sounding speaker with a nice customizable EQ and an adaptive EQ that changes the sound depending on position. But it can distort sometimes
JBL Partybox Encore - $300-330 - 9/10 -
A good loudspeaker with deep bass for a party. It has an equalizer app and has bass boost options that make it even better
will enhance the party. Additionally, there are 2 microphones in the box (USA) and 1 microphone in the EU. I even prefer the encore to the boombox 3. New models have now better battery.
The more I listen to the Bose Max, the more I love it!. I keep comparing it to my others and it comes out on top in sound QUALITY. Just my opinion. One of the tips is keeping it at ear level. And close by. The sound is Amazing to my ears. Clarity is beautiful and BASS is just right. I don't use app for the EQ. It sounds just right for me out of the box. The way the manufacturer made for u to hear it.
Try using EQ it really helps because without it, it doesnt sound that great actually, try - 3, -1, +2
@@DominikReviews yes sir. Will do
The JBL Xtreme 3 retails for $229 at the moment. The Bose sounds good, but it does not sound $170 better than the Xtreme 3.
Even Ugly Xtremly priced 4 wasn't worth at all, it's just a trick upgrade.
At lower volumes bose sounds more boomy, xtreme sounds more balanced, at higher volumes xtreme is xtremely (pun intended) v shaped and bose is just upper bass and mids
It's not a total V shaped, it has mids thought, but Upper bass quite lacking, so it does sounds quite wide and bright,
@@HAIYANE9910it still has treble and deep bass boost, so its techinaclly a v shape, not massive like the boombox 2 but still a vshape
Also, i ve noticed My xtreme 3 has to use poweramp to get some lower mids at max, because jbl eq reduces bass to scoop the mids, and i dont wanna loose bass at max😑
I never likes having Upper bass pushed. Remember what sony ultcrapp failed 7 sounds like when putting it to 80% volume. Sounds like a large bucket smashing using stick or hand slapping, later ended up in muddyness.
@@betelgeuse227its just a huge upward slant on the treble with a narrow hump at 60hz.. not a v shape technically.
@@stargazerxd13 Its still is, The boombox is the other way around and is still a vshape, despite being a very dark speaker overall with a Downards slant
Bose made a good speaker but the price is just killing it... It doesn't come even close other speakers in the 400usd category... More like 200usd
Same as Xtremly priced 4.
@@HAIYANE9910 pretty much yeah
The beginning of the kick of the track in 85%/90% volume, the bass kick, i i was like ohh, the bose had some sticky flam in its lungs😂
😂😂
Bose seems pretty decent but for 400$ thats just to much these days for a speaker this size
I can agree, not worth the money
@DominikReviews nice video by the way 👌
@@Jagistreviews Thanks 💪💪💪💪
I own the EXTREME 3 & use it inside only while it’s plugged in getting full power. I’m using a 14ProMax with Apple Music.Even at max volumes, most songs sound really good.
Well me using iphone 14 im getting distortions on this really fast
@@DominikReviewsyou’ll have to adjust the 3 band EQ in the JBL app depending on the particular song that you’re listening to. The EXTREME 3 can be a bit top heavy with the highs.
If this happens, just go down to -1 for treble, with mids & highs on 0 or flat setting. This is how I use mine & it sounds really good. I do this with the speaker plugged in near a wall inside.
On battery power, you’re only getting 121//2 - 15 watts per driver & tweeter. 50-60 watts. In A/C mode you’re getting 100 watts. 25 watts per driver & tweeter.
I don’t even use the EXTREME 3 for outdoor purposes due to its lackluster sound & performance with the battery.
12 1/2 -15 watts going into each driver isn’t enough power to provide good mids & bass. It just isn’t enough.
@@DominikReviews It may be the type of music that you’re listening to as well. I’ve noticed that you play a lot of Tecno or club music. A lot of these songs already have a certain amount of distortion in them. At the end of the day, a speaker won ‘t be able to make an imperfect recording sound perfect. The type of music & or particular song that you’re listening to does matter.
Trust me, I listen to mostly rock music. All of it doesn’t sound really good at max volume, but most of it does.
BOSE has to much BOO BOO BOO in the mid low-frequency range. A matter of taste
Yes, you can eliminate this but this will overall reduce volume of the speaker
Bose best I have it
JBL always cuts the bass sounds at 70 percent and turns into a complete tin, including Boombok 3 because DSP is activated very early to prevent distortion, but since they trust the drivers of such premium brands such as Bose, Kef, Klipsch, B&O, Devialet etc., they reduce DSP to 90, 95 percent. For example, let's talk about Boss Max. Do you do top speed with a brand new car as soon as you buy it? No, there is such a thing as a running-in phase. Yes, there is a running-in period for these premium speakers. The first stage is around 40 percent, playing continuously for 1 week. The passive radiators and the speaker layer are shaped in a certain way. It needs to expand. In the second week, it is at 60-65 percent levels. You need to play it for at least 4.5 hours every day. In the third week, it is at 75 levels. At the end of the month, it can go up to 90-100 percent. With a nice equalizer setting, it will be distorted so little that we can barely hear it. I tried it and this is the result.
You talk about preparing the speakers to make them sound good, what stupidity. Do I really have to spend so much time playing with these speakers to make them sound good? See how it messes with your brain, you can't even think about the sound for 30 days until the return because they'll convince you that you have to make some test for some weeks on these speakers! this is a trick! and such stupidity, Besides, this bose distorts even at 40%, so I don't know what that would change!
@@DominikReviews I swear, no one complains like you. It came to you free of charge from distortion. I guess they sent the defective product for review, that's why you keep talking nonsense.
@@DominikReviews Everyone who pays for it and gets it is satisfied. Yes, no one complains. We are surprised that such a big bass can be produced from this size, but since you are an idiot, you constantly talk about distortion. Bose sent you a defective product for free. Hahahahaha

Damn, Bose engineers are all idiots, only you have any sense, idiot.
Bose Soundlink Max, to be honest, it reminds me of Ultcrapp failed 7, but it's not bad, Bose was still far superior than any portable of sony.
It does sounds good until 60%, below it can sounds pretty nice, but it distorts on all levels of volume and there is some crappy limiter
You are definitely sony hater, one day and another day you write ULT CRAPP... I am boring whit this, this is a review of BOSE and overpriced JBL
y
You probably Wonder, why I'm doing this!? Please question this to me!
JBL IS NOT OVERPRICING LAST GENERATION BEFORE AURACAST APPEARED!! IT CUT DOWN! Minus 150-200$ minimum!!
The Xtreme 3 was ND model i was right?
Yes
@@DominikReviews yeah, cuz it has deep deep bass, abit lacking upper bass, which i fill suitable for indoors, and it sounds quite nice, and almost similar to boombox 3 without the 8khz peak on Xtreme 3 GG, but we got fullness body deep bass on GG, suitable for outdoors:)
@@HAIYANE9910x3 gg has more upper bass and fuller mids, x3 nd has more deep bass and more treble, also resulting in more loud
@@betelgeuse227 GG is louder than ND, with this 8khz peak on Xtreme 3 GG, it suitable outdoors in my opinion
@@HAIYANE9910 6khz and 12.5khz on xtreme 3 nd, Nd is louder, gg appears louder and fuller because of mids and uoper bass, wich yes, does makes it better for outdoors
Увы, не тянет звук Bose на 400 баксов. Большинство более дешёвых китайских колонок за 150 - 200 долларов будут играть ровнее и чище этого Bose как по мне.

£399 gets a wallet killer.
Босе играет верхним басом, потому кажется лучше. Но он бубнит.
In JBL there is a lack of upper bass, but in bose there is too much upper bass...
