    So this is the Bose Soundlink Max, its a very premium feeling speaker, I really appreciate that it has an audio jack and I like that you can use its USB C port to charge your own devices. However, I do find it hard to justify this speaker cause of its price to performance ratio. But nonetheless, today we’re going to see how the Bose Soundlink Flex compares to the Max, cause I have always liked and enjoyed the Bose Soundlink Flex.

    The soundlink flex is one of the cleanest sounding speakers out of all. Jbl might have a better bass but holy shit the clarity of the bose one is incomparable

    The max sounds really good. Well it sounds good through your mic, TH-cam compression and then replayed through my Bose QC35 headphones. I bought a JBL Charge 5 about a year ago and while I really like the sound, design, battery life etc, the Bluetooth is absolute garbage. It is by far the worst Bluetooth device I have ever owned. It crackles and cuts out and as soon as you connect another phone (it can have two phones connected at once) all hell breaks loose and it becomes a garbles crackly mess. It really is terrible. I am cosidering taking it back. My brother didnt know that I got a JBL so he bought me a Bose Soundlink Flex for christmas and while I think the Charge 5 sounds way better and has longer battery life, the Soundlink Flex is SOOOOO much better in every other way. The bluetooth is rock solid with no crackling even with two phones connected, it has a shortcut button to switch between devices (super handy when you are in the shower) it has a mic so you can talk to Siri/Google (again super handy when you are in the shower and want your song) and the voice feedback from the speaker is handy too. This is my first JBL and unfortunately I think it will be my last. The BT is garbage.

    I don’t throw any outdoor parties, so for around the house the Flex is more than enough.

    They sound good but u are right the max needs a little EQ the mids or treble is recessed a little for the price I'll rather get the flex but if want a bigger speaker JBL extreme 4 will be better for the money

    The problem is that you're comparing price to performance and not size to performance.
    So if you buy a 200$ pocket speaker and will complain that the speaker isn't loud for it's price without paying attention to the size?

      Exactly. You’re right. I have both of these speakers. The flex sounds nice for the size. However, the max sounds great as well. I use it everyday. It’s always best to listen for yourself in your own space.

    The Bose soundlink Max sounds like Sony's old muffled speakers they should have squeezed in another tweeter and make the mids more pronounced and more detailed

    2 flex are 85 dollars and sound louder than max and it’s still 150 cheaper than max after buying 2 flex speakers you can use as stereo mode

  • @robbieasghari8361
    @robbieasghari8361 หลายเดือนก่อน

    I’d prefer the JBL flip 6 over the flex. Due to it having a tweeter and a 3-band eq. The tweeter definitely gives it better clarity.
    I mean the flip 6 doesn’t blow the bose out of the water as far as the clarity but I feel it has better clarity and can be a little louder at times.
    But I think the bose does a slightly better job at max volume.
    Just my personal opinion

    • @108mtsan
      @108mtsan หลายเดือนก่อน

      Bose is much better at max volume. But average volume, the Bose still beats the Flip 6 on bass but other than that, they are about equal.

      @@robbieasghari8361 I was talking about the Flex. The Flex at max volume is more listenable than the Flip 6. That was the result when it was compared in another video.

    • @robbieasghari8361
      @robbieasghari8361 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@108mtsan Yes. I feel it has less compression at max volume than the flip 6 but still even with a little more compression at max volume I still prefer the flip 6 due to its tweeter which creates more lively sound for the size and I like the 3-band eq.
      It’s not as good as SoundCore’s 9-band EQ on their motion 300 but it’s better than nothing.
      I’m sure you know the bose soundlink flex does not have an EQ (sadly)

    You should do the new beats pill

    • @108mtsan
      @108mtsan หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      The new beats pill can play deeper frequencies than the Bose flex but the Bose flex has a stronger bass at average volume, much stronger bass at max volume, and no distortion at max volume while the Pill distorts and just sounds bad at max volume. I returned the 2024 beats pill and kept the Flex.
