I love the tape! Used it when I put a new roof vent on our old (1980) Trillium trailer. Our new trailer is literally weeks old, but I will certainly be getting up on on the roof and using that stuff.
I eternabonded every joint last summer (02) on my 6 year old 45’ fifth wheel . Need to be patient to do it nicely as it took 2 1/2 , 11:12 50’ rolls 4” wide tape . 11:12 Extremely sticky tape that does a great job …..
Kevin Cameron I definitely think that’s the way to go. The only drawback is expense but still way less expensive than dealing with water damage! Thank you for watching and commenting!
@@b0borden437 Id make sure to spend a few extra dollars on a nice caulk gun. A lot of them that aren’t the basic ones will automatically release pressure as you let off the trigger.
@@coreydurbin811 your probably right as I have about 3 cheap ones cause our garage is a mess & I never find one when needed. How much should I spend for a good one?
My lap sealant is still mostly good but even though it's still supple and pliable there are some tiny cracks that have opened. Can I just cover with eternabond or should I add lap sealant? Thanks

your repair is not done correctly and will cause leaks down the road. find a person who knows how to flat roof and they will show you the proper way to lay a bead of lap sealant
@@throughmyeyes8568 I checked your cuando for videos on his to properly seal an RV roof... You don't have any.. You do know what did leveling lap sealant is????? If you're a troll... Please disregard my comment
As a note to your video. Astone absorbs through the skin. It also can cause liver damage. You should use gloves when handling this product.
Appreciate the concern

BonneFires no doubt! Now (when it’s new) is the best time to do it 😃

lap seals, good idea 👍
The area under the fridge vent is a biggie since you can't see it very well.
Great idea taping the seams.
Awesome video !!
Steve Anderson thanks Steve!
Did my roof earlier this spring. I ended up putting down eternabond tape on everything. Another good video.

@@WanderingWeekends I did everything but A/C and Fridge with one 50'x4" roll. I was surprised that one roll did it.
Yall have a great channel Cory.
Southern Adventures Thanks Randy! You guys surviving this heat?!
I eternabond my whole roof six years ago and still looks great and no problems also
the best part no sealant to inspection
Definitely the way to go!
Thank you ... your video is a big help!
Appreciate you watching.
Why didn't you take to top of the vent???
Do you have any pictures of the areas before you used the tap ? Would give me a good idea.
We did a vid not too long ago where we taped every seam!
Will this work on a rubber roof?
Why didn’t you just put tape over the seam on your fridge vent?
Thanks god bless
I spot sealed a section of my epdm roof with flexseal liquid and want to use eternabond tape around its border. Will the tape adhere to the flexseal?
I’m not sure... if the material is clean it will likely stick to whatever you place it on. It’s sticky.
Do all caulk guns have that button to stop sealant? I never heard of it before?
Most every gun I’ve seen have the lever to disengage.
@@WanderingWeekends Thanks! Guess you can tell I'm not very handy with tools lol.

Good information

Literally washed roof an hour ago. Going to treat it with SOS
Did you put the EternaBond Tape directly over the old sealant, or scrape it off first?
Josh Eberhardt no need to remove old sealant unless the old sealant is loose or cracking. This was a preventative measure.
About how many tubes will it take to do every cent deal on a 32’? 4 square vents, AC, fridge, skylight, and a couple plumbing vents
not sure... I ended up Eternabond taping all of my roof seals... best thing I could have done...

@3:15 omg how does an owner let the seal go so long to be in that state lol.
Types of owners
- doesn't know
- doesn't care
- dealer told them it's not necessary

Waaaaaay too much sealant.
