I did spin training a couple of weeks ago as part of becoming a CFI. It was amazing, and made me want to learn aerobatics (the instructor threw in a couple of loops just for fun).

I have had several Decathalons, wrecked all of them eventually, good thing they were 1/6th scale R/C aircraft. Can't imagine flying a full size aircraft in aerobatic mode, it's probably easier than R/C in terms of controls, everything changes when flying from the ground, ailerons reverses, rudder reverses, it takes some mental gymnastics to get it right. Looks like fun though, beautiful place to fly.
I see that you liked the video I would like to recommend checking the TH-cam Video of James Asquith as he first did an aerobatics flight it was cool to watch :)
@@tylerepperson4381they Legally MUST have a chute on. Both of them! My dad was killed by a student in that exact plane. They were to low to bail out. That's after 10 year in a phantom and 12 in an f16. Sad

I recently had the opportunity to fly one of there. Phenomenal airplane! Absolutely want to spend more time in it.
I have got hours in the Super Decathlon and would love to getting back into it it again and go back into doing fun things with it all day
