Great video! I too, have the X9D+ SE 2019, but just purchased the Jumper T18 (not T16) for a back-up TX. I’d definitely like to see you do a comprehensive “run through” of the T16, as its very close to the T18, but you have a terrific way of explaining things in layman’s terms and that makes all the difference in the world when learning so many things such as , OpenTX, INav, Betaflight, etc. There’s a LOT to learn when starting out and getting a bit of info explained in everyday terms is a huge bonus for everyone. 🎯 Thanks again for the video and looking forward to many more, especially in regards to the T16. ✌🏼
Liked and subscribed. I have the original Taranis X9D plus and it is my favorite radio. I am looking at the Jumper T16 as a daily driver backup; however the Radiomaster TS16 is around the corner. It has everything the the jumper has but is some 40 dollars cheaper. It is scheduled to debut April 29th. Great video by the way. Keep em coming.
I am making the transition to open tx and frsky from spektrum. I fly helicopter for 10 years and started with spektrum. I have lost control half dozen times on smaller cheap heli. I going to start flying the larger helis which are more expensive and dangerous. I want a solid link. Just picked up the x9 lite . Open TX doesn't seem that difficult to learn. I got a used Futaba which is not easy to learn from compared to spektrum.
hey man sorry i couldnt understand, does the jumper t16 suport access protocol? i have an r9m 2019 module with 2 r9 mx reciver that only support access protocol. i couldn't bind them, i tried all the different combination but nothing.. please help me -.-
If you have a separate module that you are using in the radio then it should work fine. It is the module that does all the work not the controller. I don’t have any experience in the R9M but access does bind much more different than a normal receiver. Make sure to follow instructions closely for the module.
Same for me. The newer R9 MX doesn't work because they using the new Access protocol from frsky. Jumpers don't support this protocol. You have to buy older r9m and flash them with accst. If you find another solution pls contact me.
@@XPSyan yes i switched to CROSSFIRE... i hate frsky for making everithig more complicated.. I cose not to buy anything else from them.. They are so stupid.
These jumpers are battery hogs. I’m running XF Full Version and have to run a separate bat. I’m coming from from QX7 and R9M. Will certainly keep my QX7 and R9. XF isn’t as much better than than I was expecting. Only plus is OTA updates and binding. Range is same.
Thats what you get for buying some cheap shit knockoff 18650 cells with "6000"mAh capactiy. Next time get 2 high quality samsung cells 3500mAh each. These can also go down to 3.1V per cell and be fine, unlike a lipo that goes down to 3.6V per cell.
Great video!

I am with you on your view regarding Spektrum and thats from personal experience. I am currently getting to grips with my T16 and so far impressed.
Good to see you back 👍
