I thought the ICP sensor was under the valve cover and that sensor is a IPR sensor? I'm not a mechanic but was told that by a friend who was working on my truck. I'm not trying to be rude but just asking as this is all new to me. Thanks for doing these videos as they are a big help to me!
That is no problem. On this model in the video. The sensor is located on the outside on the left side of the engine. I do have another video with the model the sensor is located underneath the valve cover.

I have a mechanic friend going to change mine tomorrow and it's located under the valve cover. At first he thought it might have been the IPR and that's located on the side of the engine on my truck.Thank you again my friend and keep up the good work!
I love this engine.. i see alot of bad comments about it online, but i thomk its a workhorse. My question is : Can a bad ICP censor cause it to not start without starter fluid due to not building up enough oil pressure??
Did this fix your problem? My truck is doing something similar, and I have to wait a little for the engine to cool off before I can restart did you also have this?
I did not have that type of problem. My problem was mainly low power and hard to start once it sits over night. I have to replace a Fuel Injector. That fixed the hard start and low power issue. Sometime you can get lucky by changing the ICP Sensor.
I have an sid0102 code and 0164 code can you point me in the right direction? Engine warn light only goes on with a heavy load which is prolly high egt
My low oil pressure light comes on while I’m parked or coming to a stop. When I speed up the pressure builds up to 20-40. Could this be the ICp sensor?
I would change the Engine Oil and Filter. Sometimes a Oil Filter can play games with you. Make sure you are using 15w-40 and go that route first. Hopefully that will help.
I changed #2 injector. It was determined that diesel fuel was getting into my oil. A bad injector was likely the cause of this. We ended up braking the whole motor apart because I also had a bent lift rod and a broken lifter.

That sounds like the Cam Sensor. The Cam Sensor is located on the Engine front cover. If you replace it. Make sure that you place back the New Cam Sensor the same way.
@@dconner50 I'm thinking that's what's wrong with mine. Either that or the ICP sensor. Was it a tuff task or did you pay a mechanic? Was it only the IPR valve or other things as well, like the HPOP? Thanks

Will this cause white smoke when you rev to about 2200rpm? Like a misfire and then cloud of white smoke right after the skip

I’ve been having the same issue. I changed my oil and filter because it was due. Nothing changed. Did you find out the reason why it was doing this ?

Common you didn't show how you put back the part you take of in front the icp
Do you know if I could use an ICP sensor off a t444 on a 466e?
I would call the local Dealer and give them your last (8) of the Vin#. And ask if it will work on a 466e the same year model.
