Sending a message of support, I know you might be past this point now. I have no idea how difficult it must be making such a big decision, kudos to you for being so open and honest xx
Oh darlin’ - I wanted to give you a big squeeze all the way through watching this. I know this is all in the past now, but my only advice would be to save yourself the heartache, pick one way or the other and let let your wee head settle down to it. Either way will be absolutely fine - Alan is right. We can drive ourselves bonkers worrying round it when really there’s no wrong or right and once you’ve settled on one you’ll feel miles better
I thought from hearing other people I should do it all naturally . I tried for hours and then they told me I was getting an epidural because I was pushing too soon 😂 . None of my labour went according to any of my plans set out in class and I think if I hadn’t have made those plans I’d have been more relaxed as I wouldn’t have put all these expectations on it . All that matters is that you make the choice only for you and baby . I deleted so many mum and baby pages I think people should preach kindness to pregnant women in making their own choices rather than forcing so many opinions on them that they never know what the right one is . I realise this was an older vlog but massive hugs and I hope things seem much better now xxxx
I know these vlogs aren't real-time so I have no idea how you're doing right now or what headspace you'll be in when/if you read this comment but I just wanted to let you know that I appreciate your honesty in regard to the roller coaster of emotions and all the decisions you've been struggling with and I hope your friend was able to give you some comfort. Just because woman have been giving birth for centuries does not mean it's ever been an easy thing!
