Thank you so much for the amazing review!! We’re seriously blown away by all of your kind words and can’t explain what this review means to us, as we’ve be waiting & working on our candles as well as our branding, for so long to get them right and to finally send them to you!… We literally could not be more pleased with your review of them! 🙏🏻 Thank you Wade. So, to answer your questions: • We’ve tried to use CD•3’s and they just didn’t cut it… at least not for these 2 scents anyway. We wish they didn’t burn as hot as they do, but going smaller, just seemed to nearly drown them out at times… • The No.’s each have their own meaning. “Save Room”’s No. 1998, as well as the candle’s name itself, is actually referencing the original “Resident Evil” video game(s), in which a “Save Room” is a safe place where players seek refuge amongst the horrors of the zombie-filled video game. (hence the “Undead Florals” as well 😉). The original game’s story took place in 1998. And “Art Museum”’s 1844 is in reference to The Wadsworth Atheneum Museum of Art, which is the oldest continuously-operating public art museum in the United States, opening its doors to the public in 1844. • As for the Uline “Cool-Shield” inner-lining of the boxes, we actually do cut and place them inside the boxes ourselves. It helps keep the temperature slightly cooler as well as acts as a cushion/padding. • As for the trimming-guide / care card, it PHYSICALLY tells you when to stop burning your candle! It’s that funny “T-Shirt” shape because when placed inside the jar, it rests on the edge/rim once the candle has burned-down to the last 1/2” of wax, which at that point you should stop burning it! (As you know). It’s actually written on each edge of the ‘T’ shape. This is, again, just a concept and we’re planning on refining our design of them and will hopefully start sending them with ever order in the future! Thank you again Wade, have an amazing weekend!! Also, congratulations once again on becoming a member of the NCA!! 🎉 So happy to see you achieving such an great accomplishment!
I know how busy you are Wade but would you do a video on planning for each season and what dates should we have our testing of new scents done? What dates should our testing and products made before each important seasonal date. In fact I wish someone would put out a candle planner! 💗💜♥️😎 love your videos always!
Light bulb moment when you went over the multiple wick candles and how they can appear overwicked. Thank you thank you I thought I was going crazy 😜. Makes total sense now Wade, you’re a G!
Yes to the bunny! As always thanks for the time it takes to do this. And I really need to take your advice about moving on from certain oils. I get way toooo stubborn, like how hard should it really be to make a candle right? As we all know it is a lot more difficult than it seems. 😫
Save Room and the undead reference im guessing is a reference to resident evil series, the rooms you save your game progress are save rooms and undead is another name for zombies.
I was wondering what your thoughts are on candle toppers? From a consumers perspective, I have found them to be helpful in evening out the burn of container candles, particularly as the candle burns down into the jar. I don't see much mentioned about them on websites such as yours, so it seems there might be a bias against using them. Just curious as to what you think. Thanks
Good point! I still have a whole bunch from way back 80’s/90’s. Many of the Yankee Candle Toppers. I make candles as a hobby but don't need toppers for my own. I do use them for store bought candles with struggling wicks.
Hey, I am planning to launch a new candle business in a month and a half and it is kind of going into the so called “slowest” candle months as summer would be approaching. I am bent between maybe it’s better if I launch in the off peak months so that I can learn more for the busier months or should I wait until later in the year to launch. Can you please suggest what would you do in my place
I don't think there is any reason to wait. Start when you can, get comfortable with sales, yours site, packing, prpduxt photos, testing more products. No real benefit to waiting IMO
It just looked that way because of double wicks. The First burn seemed overwicked a bit which is normal. The last burn or two a tad as well. The rest were perfect l. Pretty typical for a candle to behave that way to be honest. I have some that do that too on occasion. Overall pretty well balanced. I did recommend on the video though to try one size smaller. 😀
Hello, I would like my candles tested by you as well! However, I am not sure where to send them as I don’t see it in the description and things of that sort. If you could please let me know where I can send then so that I can get some to you!
Perhaps it's just a coincidence, but my mind went to the song from the VeggieTales' episode "Rack, Shack and Benny", about a guy who wanted all his employees to worship a giant golden bunny.

When reviewing, do you have a very general opinion on candles presented in their own individual boxes versus just a wrapped container?
Not really. I think it does down to branding and whether you want to spend a bit more on packaging and charge a bit more as well

I like them and they control a perfect flame and candle. But they can get super hot! Lol
Thank you for doing these! Can't wait to send my candles for *hopefully* a review, if I'm fortunate enough :).

Wade, to me the candles looked overwicked. The melt pool was DEEP, I'm so confused 😕 Kinda curious to know what fragrance load percentage they used 🤔

If I wanted to submit my candles for review, where would I send them to? I value your feedback.

hi, you can reach out to youtube@blacktiebarn.com but i currently have new ones on hold as I ma quite buried
@@BlackTieBarn Hello, I sent an email for your review!
could I send you some of my handmade candles and wax melts that I've started making just recently?
Wade….tell me the bunny you were thinking of is Fast, the VW Rabbit.
@@BlackTieBarn brooooo. VeeDub fan! I knew it. Guess you know the inspiration for my YT handle hahahah

Hi, I'm just curious about your shirt. Are you mocking Jesus?
I would say no. People always send him stuff to see if they are on track or would Wade do something different. It fits the situation
Not at all? It's a candle review video story
@@BlackTieBarn ok. Thank you for replying. I'm new to your channel so I didn't know. I'm glad you are not mocking Him.
@@lynnthomas8848 thank you for explaining.
My guy is baaaaack
