Just a quick note ... If you're in the UK (and most of Europe) you can't sell candles that have been made up of more than one preexisting fragrance oil without it going through lab tests and have the stamp of approval. Rules on this are far more relaxed in the US.

@@JAG994 not in the UK or EU, unless you pay for the new mix to be ratified by the EU which costs ££££. In the US, there doesn't seem to be any consideration about the consequences of mixing oils.

Wade you are heaven scent (lol) for me. I was all over the candle world, testing fragrance oils, wicks, jars and went crazy the 1st year. Now I’m in the second year and your advice to step back, breathe and reset was the best advice I heard. I slowed down and restarted and now, my candles are burning great, minimal soot and I’ve made a lot of progress, all because of you. Thanks and keep up the wonderful work.

Your candle math formula is the best! And should be learned by anyone attempting to make a candle. Its a crucial step in knowing how much wax and fo to use in your candle! Wade is the best teacher and makes it understandable. Im so glad I found Wade and his videos when I began researching the process in 2019. I watched all his videoa and took notes. Reqatched when I didnt grasp something. Ordered some supplies and when I pouredmy 1st candle itwas near perfect! No wax wasted, great ht and ct! Wade's videos and teaching saved me money, no wasted supplies, and reduced the stress when first starting out in the world of candle making! Im forever grateful to Wade! Thank you Wade for all that you do! Youre a blessing for sure! ❤

It would be nice to have a video on packaging, labels, I'm in Canada, but to know where you recommend customizing boxes, is it worth it, label qualities, textured labels, etc. Jars... do you prefer clear or amber... how do you know which scents to bring in... where do you market research what your customers want... candle science explains scents by state, but we have none of this in Canada. Love your videos.

I'm wondering if the candles with this kind of lid won't need any other structure to block the candle from being exposed to air? Like can I just leave the candles with hole-y lid and nothing else? The dust and stuff won't cause issue?

I can’t find the video where you’re in your kitchen making a few candle for order and was short a couple. Think it was blue spruce. Help me find it please.

    Good morning 😊
I have been testing Palm wax and was wondering if you have ever used it.
Here's my issue, it appears that when my pillar candle is ready the bottom always has a big gap that you can't see until you try removing it from the mold, then it just crumbles when I push it out😢
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated ❤
    Thank you

I’m brand new and I made my wick holders on the cheap. Glue gun, popsicle sticks. Works like a CHARM!

What is ya'lls feedback on fragrance oils from The Candle Makers Store? I've bought and used fragrances from Lone Star Candle, Candle Science, and the Flaming Candles. All are great but looking for something with a heavier scent. I am doing IGI 4627 blended with some PB 600 with Premier 745 wicks with 10% fragrance and still not getting the CT and HT I get from the smell of my Dude Candle. The scent throw on his Pina Colada is epic! Any help would be appreciated. Just ordered some CD10 wicks to test next. The smoke of the Premier wick is pretty bad in the beginning.

I’ve noticed that you use a infrared laser thermometer. Is there a specific one you use? I have one but I’ve noticed that the temp is a few degrees off from what an actual thermometer shows.

Great video, thank you! Can I add a small amount of glitter to the top of my candle and if so, what type do you recommend?

I wouldn't, because it is a fire hazard. For the safest candle, only a wick/clip, wax and fragrance should be inside the vessel.

He shows mica powder in this video. You could use mica powders and colorants to get the effect you want. I'm no expert but I'm betting he got a video on using mica in candies.
