His "yeah!" after Kristin just belted her face off is never not funny
This is the very first time my wife and I heard Kristin....changed our musical lives!!!
wow!! so amazing as she always be. Scatting, Opera-ing and belting in one song, singing about such a fun story, the one and only Kristin!
Beautiful talent and I love the way she says no solicitions
my voice teacher wants me to sing this
Kristin is the Brian Wilson of musical theatre--in other words, a musical genius!!
I currently live in an apartment and have a similar experience; two neighbors blast their music at the same time but it’s totally different styles. I try to just go to sleep but it’s hard.
Pills
Loops ear plugs
Wow that audience was dry as hell during the beginning.
I've been stuck at home with health issues, and watching Kristin's spectacular performances has given me endless joy. This one along, with Glitter and Be Gay, are the best of TH-cam (and Broadway).
Two years before Wicked
I LUV this amazingly talented woman, just wondering if anyone
else noticed she pointed opposite directions for aparmtents 13G and
15G? other than that, I think it was another flawless performance. "I've had my fill of peace and quiet, shout out loud: I've changed my diet," is my favorite part of the song when Ms. Chinowith sibgs it.
I saw it. Mildly amusing, but she's also a Broadway actress and NYC people make whole careers looking for faux pas of actors onstage there.
omg she's so amazing !!!! I'm learning this song and she in totally my inspiration :D
Good luck this requires extreme pitch control
@@avo284 way to underestimate her talent
@@MrWmJosephSmithIII not underestimating just staying the obvious 😂
i remember fraaaaannnccceeee
"Wagner's Ring and Traviata" (sings Magic Flute)
And pronounces "TraviaRa"...
Right?
this is literally the best thing i've seen and heard XD
Wow, what a performance!!
(0:45)
Wow!!!! So talented! Awesome performance. ❤️
The day after this show aired, I called up several music stores in town hunting down one that had her cd with this song and bought it. Sure, I'm not the only one who done so.
This one and Kelli O'Hara's "They won't let you in the opera if you're a country star". Love them both.
Absolutely gorgeous!!❤
Just moved in to 14G
So cozy, calm, and peaceful
Heaven for a mouse like me
With quiet by the lease-full
Pets are banned parties too
And no solicitations
Window seat with garden view
A perfect nook to read a book
I'm lost in my Jane Austen when I hear
[Dramatic opera]
Say it isn't so
Not the flat below
From an opera wanna be
In 13G
A matinee of some cantata
Wagner's Ring
And Traviata
[Dramatic opera]
My first night in 14G
I'll put up with Puccini
Brew myself a cup of tea
Crochet until she's "fini"
Half past eight
Not a peep
Except the clock tick-tockin'
Now I lay me down to sleep
A comfy bed to rest my head
A stretch, a yawn, I'm almost gone when
[Scatting noisily]
Now the girl upstairs
[Laughs]
Wakes me unawares
Blowing down from 15 G
Her reveille
She's scattin' like her name is Ella
Guess who answers a cappella
[escalating transitions between scatting and opera]
I'm not one to
Raise my voice
Make a fuss
Or speak my mind
But might I query
Would you mind if
Could you kindly
STOP!
That felt good
STOP!
13, 15, 14G
A most unlikely trio
Not quite three part harmony
All day and night we're singing
[All three sing]
I've had my fill of peace and quiet
Shout out loud I've changed my diet
All because of 14g
She pointed 13G upwards and 15G downwards Lol BUT I still LOVE UUUU
You are such a mind-boggling asshole, you know that?
Geez
@@keithweber5573 your parents must have hated you.
@@fuddafirst nah just hating you
Ugh jesus. STFU
Chelsea, I absolutely adore your 14G performance!!! Keep up and lots of love and best wishes. Grandma Cree
Wrong video...
Beautiful voice
Awwww Jerry. 😢 Miss you.
Please post more of Kristin Chenoweth!!
I’ll forever be jealous of her vocal range!!
So cozy calm ❤❤❤😂🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Even the character and the exposition voices are slightly different... the placement of the 14G girl is more forward... I'll never not be impressed with the control that requires.
She reminded me of Sandy Duncan her look and personality love her talent
Sings a hell of a lot better than Sandy...personality okay agree
@@MrFishing4u there both beautiful ladies who have the same type of talent but that's my opinion And I'm entitled to it just has you are entitled to yours
@MrFishing4u I always considered Sandy to be a better singer than some people give her credit for being.
So amazing 🤩
Cute the way she says no solications
*lol* I yawned when she said: "...yawn...".
Perfection!
nice voice!
Fabulous
Shes something 😂🎉😅💘😊😘😘💨🥰
I just want to collect her and keep her on a shelf at home.
NO! must share!
Wow
A TOUR DE FORCE PERFORMANCE BY THE DIVINE MS. CHENOWETH!
00:41
That was badass!
She kinda looks here like a mini version of Cameron Diaz on "The Mask"
Omg thai people sing that song too
This makes me rethink pursuing a music degree… 😭
With Jerry Lewis!
Ugh, very arrogant person he was
verry like
0:43
She is Broadway
When she scats she reminds me of Eartha Kitt!
You are sick. Not even remotely.
Wonder who paid to write all those charts?
Did she write this song?
I think so
It was written for her based from her experience after she moved to NY.
It's by Jeanine Tesori
well, I heard a cover version sang by a real soprano and I did not expect the original to sound like Duffy :))
Kristin Chenoweth is a real classically trained soprano. She has a master's degree in opera performance
Please tell me that this wasnt some sort of talent show???? 😳
no it wasnt
4:18 what is this from?
Tchaikovsky's Swan Lake.
@@gilartisisiw983 thank you!!
It's Lisa Simpson
Chenoweth made some good albums. She was also great in Pushing Daises. I can't believe she dated Seth Green (he seems like an idiot).
