My god, I’m at 4 kills with my squad but it feels like no accomplishment compared to 4:40-4:50. That is 1000% skill that shows the user understanding their weapon better than anyone else, I’ve seen many Hail Mary attacks that were awesome but dear god was that HB set up so beautifully I’m in awe watching it on replay

You can clearly see that he very deliberately picks the exact direction he needs to face to hit the tail at the end of Alatreon's move. There was nothing to hit at all in this direction when he started the attack, so he had no reason to do it unless he knew that's where the tail was gonna end up.
Sascha Herrmann if you couldn’t tell that HB wasn’t luck then you haven’t been playing for very long, he learned alatreons movement pattern so fast in less than one day he could land an attack that was only given a .5 second window to pull off. It had nothing to do with luck

When alatreon does some of those dragon shifts/explotions/whatever those are, I think you can foresight it and yelmbreak it, or even lai spirit slash it and then yelm break it

LS god Peppo if you reading this you can take advantage when Alatreon is going to use breath attack to the ground at 1:08 to claw on it and do the tender move, pretty much you immune to his attack. I'm trying your LS fire build and got myself a 7min 7-second ^_^ that's really a build to destroy Alatreon.
damn Alatreon looks so much stronger than he was back in P3. I also remember that back in P3 he used to raise his head so high that it would normally be impossible to hit his head with a melee weapon. The only way to consistently hit his head was to stand behind him, wait for him to turn, and that's when he temporarily lowers his hit, then you land 1-2 hits, and repeat.
why no wall slam after the first dodge of the roar? and then tenterize the head? nice run. i need to master the long sword. more of a dual blades lover though

Peppo do you think there is a none Safi/Kulva LS set that can beat Alatreon? Don't got ps+ so can't beat Safi for his armor. Would the normal Teo MR set work if you go a strong enough dragon LS like Stygian or something with maxed out dragon attack skill?
yes definitely possible. I did it with fire safi LS full raw + coal 3 and I did it, but it's harder compared to this set 'cause you get only 1/2 topples instead of 4/5
why i can´t see alatreon´s layered weapon on smithy? i killed alot of alatreon now and still nothing? dang, i want that layered weapon so bad. edit: nevermind i just upgraded my LS and got the layered armor.
You have to craft the specific Alatreon weapon first before it unlocks itself sadly. But it works only for the weaponclass. For example I crafted and upgraded the LS and now I can layer all LS with alatreon skin, but i cant do it with weapons from other weaponclasses.
You have to get its gem because with my other character I wanted the stygian zinogre long sword layered armour but I needed the tempered guding lands material to get it and that's because you need the exclusive material that's needed to upgrade the weapon to its final upgrade to unlock the layered version you don't have to craft it. Because I never made the long sword but I had it's layered version unlocked already
The way he uses longsword is almost flawless. I wonder if i had mhw on pc at 75fps instead of a 2015 xbox one at 25 fps could i be just as good with enough practice.

Theres 2 event quests that switch daily. One starts fire the other starts ice. She always uses ice, fire, and dragon though. Just changes which one starts

So how do you raise your attack from 931 to almost 1.5 k ? Attack boost lvl 7 + buffs (demon juice etc.) cannot do this alone

When you recover from a blight coalescence gives you a lot of raw and elemental attack and it lasts quite a while too

+18 raw +90 element lasts 90 seconds and in this fight it’s almost 100% up time

If you successfully counter a move with foresight then you can press RT/R2 to use round slash, it’s the whole point of foresight

No, he always begins with fire or ice, then he goes to dragon and if you dont break a horn while he is in his dragon state he goes to the next element
