My god, I’m at 4 kills with my squad but it feels like no accomplishment compared to 4:40-4:50. That is 1000% skill that shows the user understanding their weapon better than anyone else, I’ve seen many Hail Mary attacks that were awesome but dear god was that HB set up so beautifully I’m in awe watching it on replay

You can clearly see that he very deliberately picks the exact direction he needs to face to hit the tail at the end of Alatreon's move. There was nothing to hit at all in this direction when he started the attack, so he had no reason to do it unless he knew that's where the tail was gonna end up.
Sascha Herrmann if you couldn’t tell that HB wasn’t luck then you haven’t been playing for very long, he learned alatreons movement pattern so fast in less than one day he could land an attack that was only given a .5 second window to pull off. It had nothing to do with luck

You need at least 14 spires to craft all his weapon and unlock their layered, and one spires for each layered weapon you make after that, not counting the random wing/horn/tail you also need.

Ice active: -1 Pitch Dragon acitve: 0 Pitch Fire active: +1 Pitch
LS god Peppo if you reading this you can take advantage when Alatreon is going to use breath attack to the ground at 1:08 to claw on it and do the tender move, pretty much you immune to his attack. I'm trying your LS fire build and got myself a 7min 7-second ^_^ that's really a build to destroy Alatreon.
damn Alatreon looks so much stronger than he was back in P3. I also remember that back in P3 he used to raise his head so high that it would normally be impossible to hit his head with a melee weapon. The only way to consistently hit his head was to stand behind him, wait for him to turn, and that's when he temporarily lowers his hit, then you land 1-2 hits, and repeat.
After fifty six attempts I've managed to kill this thing three times. I have only two more pieces of the armor left to craft and then I'm washing my hands of this thing for a LONG time.
The way he uses longsword is almost flawless. I wonder if i had mhw on pc at 75fps instead of a 2015 xbox one at 25 fps could i be just as good with enough practice.

This is real cool, Not only did you play iceborne enough to get to Alatreon and didn't kill yourself even though it sucks so much dick, you solo'd Alatreon. (I think the coolest part here is playing iceborne long enough to get to Alatreon without committing to the suicidal thoughts that Iceborne gives you)
why i can´t see alatreon´s layered weapon on smithy? i killed alot of alatreon now and still nothing? dang, i want that layered weapon so bad. edit: nevermind i just upgraded my LS and got the layered armor.
@@GenshinLover283 It really was, it made running the Velkhana armor fun with the amount of damage i could put out into the later game. (i was never one for meta so it was beyond sub optimal, but boy was it fun)
Peppo do you think there is a none Safi/Kulva LS set that can beat Alatreon? Don't got ps+ so can't beat Safi for his armor. Would the normal Teo MR set work if you go a strong enough dragon LS like Stygian or something with maxed out dragon attack skill?
yes definitely possible. I did it with fire safi LS full raw + coal 3 and I did it, but it's harder compared to this set 'cause you get only 1/2 topples instead of 4/5

(If it wasn't clear enough, I fucking despise Iceborne, it ruined a perfectly good game like World, with a shite ass mechanic like the clutch claw.

When you recover from a blight coalescence gives you a lot of raw and elemental attack and it lasts quite a while too

+18 raw +90 element lasts 90 seconds and in this fight it’s almost 100% up time
