It actually is smaller than the older Rectifier, it's looks to be the same size as the Triple Crown and the JP2C, which allows it to be rack-mountable.
It’s full size in terms of its power section. However I would say the current trend is still leaning toward simplistic designs, when you compare this to the Road King or Mark V, which were the flagship Boogies just a few years ago.
Great move Mesa, so i can give up my search for a decent pre 500, the included load box for silent recording and the Cab Clone makes my day. From what i`ve heared in the videos sounds like the perfect Recto for me

@@TVoltG Actually I tried the Mark 5.25 & was blown away. Can dial in almost anything I want & got very close to the tone I was looking for. Can’t go wrong with a Boogie.

Man oh man! Sounds great! Love the more compact design with the built in cabclone IR and a more modern take on an legendary tone. 50W rack mount version will work perfectly for my use. Nicely done Mesa Boogie! Can't wait!
This feels like a really smart move from Mesa, the whole thing just seems like a very well thought out answer to what modern players were wishing from them. I’m very excited to see that they changed the power section to default EL34, it’s such a bold change considering that it has been a 6l6 powered amp since its creation. God I want to try one out so bad 😷🔥

Cool. Another Rectifier. Would like to see Mesa do something like turning the Throttle Box or one of those pedals into a small portable lightweight American made SS amp head for practice or jamming. I have no doubt Randall Smith could engineer a great sounding solid state guitar amp.
What companies are still making tube amps.!!! What the hell!!! I guess this amp will probably be profiled into a Kemper amp.. Way to go Mesa Boogie. Rock on. Dude.
this thing sounds light and glassy and loose like a Rev G / single rec reincarnation, I can't wait to hear it with 6L6s. Do any of the modes turn off negative feedback like recto modem?

I prefer the Fillmore or Lonestar.. Not that its a bad sounding amp by any means but all the recto line cleans are just good and I prefer using pedals.
