Thanks. I do get out a lot, lol. I've actually been watching your channel while I'm remodeling my garage (car port), and I'm 5 hours behind you. I'm in the US in Massachusetts.
When you discover new hexes, first your toll for the terrain type and then you roll again to see if it has a location in it. Otherwise you would only get locations in plains when you are in a plains hex etc. BTW I played a Dragonkin Blacksmith in honor of your first character. He's doing magnificently.
@@lone_adventurer I'm getting ready to start thinking of making my own castle. I've spoken to the king of the Elven Fortress and become allies. I bought the Noble Advanced Class thanks to my lucrative adventure into the Laboratory under the Fortress' Sewer system... Of course I lost all my hair as a result of going into that place... small price to pay :)
@@lone_adventurer I played it for a little while with printed sheets. I did my first dungeon with pencil and a map sheet. However, I didn't have what I needed to print the manual and I didn't like the options I had for drawing the Hex Map. So, what I did was used a program I own for mapping and I did the Hex map in that. It looks great and making it was part of the fun. Then I redesigned the character sheet to be more useful for me as well as being able to do it interactively in a program on my PC. Finally, I got the companion prgram for my mapma maker that lets me draw the dungeons. I ported my first dungeon map into the program as a test and now I can play Notequest entirely on my machine. I even use 'Roll Dice Online' instead of keeping my dice box by the PC. I've been through 4 dungeons completely and now I need to explore because I've run out of them in my starting area. I'm talking to my wife about playing multiplayer sometimme too :)
