The idea of sugary breakfast started in the west by Kellogs to support corn farmers during midwest drought. They spread it every where. Most Asians never ate sugary breakfast
I feel great when I start my day with food that includes plenty of electrolytes. Which means savory foods with enough salt, and water. Soup is my favorite breakfast food.
I just reheat yesterday's dinner for breakfast. That way i can make something different that day. If i don't have left overs, i make mean & cheese burrito, eggs and winnies, sausage and potatoes, you name it. Maybe because I'm not American so we didn't grow up starting the day with sugar.
Wow yes i used to be that person always sweet breakfast i could not imagine having eggs. My 4th day starting my day with savoury food and i can actually SEE changes already. She is right.....its a different world not relying on sugar anymore😅

A big, huge, massive difference between a whole foods plant based starch such as a potato and that of a donut. Anyone who cant see that needs to open a book and study more.
@@jennprescott2757 not a good excuse. Just because a donut tastes better than a banana doesn't mean its better for you. Theres nothing in meat that we cant get from plants. Because in the end we are both eating the same source of nutrients but nothing had to chew and digest my food before i eat it.
@@lynnh1682they didn’t say anything about taste? It’s a fact that animal sources contain higher bioavailability in certain nutrients. And of course there are things in animal foods we can’t get in plant foods (and vice versa). That’s absurd. How about Taurine, just as one single example. But a food isn’t just the sum of its constituent nutrients. Sure, an egg yolk has about 3 grams protein, a bunch of choline, zinc selenium etc etc… but it’s not like the body just senses an egg yolk coming in and is like oh, 700micrograms of copper, great. A whole food, like an egg yolk, is more than just its individual nutrients; it's a complex matrix of matter and energy consisting of vitamins, minerals, fats, and proteins that interact synergistically, influencing how the body absorbs and utilizes these components, in extraordinarily awe-inspiringly complex ways that we don’t fully understand. My point is… you can’t find a steak in a spinach. To say “there’s nothing in plant foods that isn’t in animal foods” is factually and by definition false.
@@SuitedPup i wouldn't eat an egg unless my body stopped making cholesterol. Meat are group 1 carcinogens. You can have your meat and heart disease too. Spinach has more iron than meat does and it doesnt contain cancer causing heme iron.
@lynnh1682 your body will fall apart on plant based. If you need to take B supplements in order to survive. There's something wrong with your diet. Meat is a complete protein. Plants are not. They do not have all the amino acids that meat contain. Low carb- omnivore- whole foods is the only way to eat. I hope you fight for unborn children the way you fight for the cows.

Exactly
Sugar in the morning makes me feel physically ill.
As an Indian i am 💯 not used to sweet breakfast. We all grew up eating savory breakfast
I did it. Today I prepared 5 savory breakfasts for the workweek.. my week one diary
And? How's going? You are the best version of yourself lol?
Hello, what did you prepared?

That's what I do, too 🇺🇸

The most savoury breakfast I ever eat for breakfast is egg with salt on. I think I should try this thing.
Your best life will not be lived by constantly obsessing about food. Stop it. Eat sensibly, be active, and your life will be happy.
Yea. Eat real foods. Move your body.
This is true
Yes you will thrive if you do this

Good to know😊
What about protein powder, banana and strawberries smoothie? Would that be sweet breakfast?
Yes, but start with the protein powder first, then you should be fine. That's what I learnt from her.
@@besidoneatsemudiara8140 how so? I usually just make a smoothie.
When I have sugar first thing, my whole day is complete sh*t. Huge difference.
I've always been this way. I'd rather have a breakfast sandwich, than a bowl of cereal. Always been that way. Savory foods are what I crave most.
Doesn't sandwich bread cause blood sugar spikes?

Black coffee. 12 to 16 hour fast for me
Surely it's entirely dependent on the individual?? I eat no more or less if I have a sweet breakfast over a savoury one.
Its about glucose spike, not quantities
