@@phantom7468 i also have iphone 8 replaced battery, I would say it’s usable if you’re a type of person who’s not always using their phone so I upgraded to the 13 256GB the performance is 10x better

That’s essential for every iPhone it’s just on newer iPhones like ip13. And ip 12 they my still be ok when it dips below 80 like 75 percent

I’ve been on my 8 Plus since it’s launch. I still find it does all I need and love the 16:9 1080p screen. I’ll update to the SE 4 if it hasn’t got an OLED screen as I’m one of the 10% of people who can’t use OLED due to PWM.
That’s sucks man, OLED is a really cool technology! As for the iPhone 8 Plus form factor, I love it! I recently bought an iPhone 6 Plus to make another episode of this series! I also have an iPhone 7 plus! 16:9 Rocks!

I have an iPhone 15 pro and an iPhone 8 that i just got for personal use
The regular 8 isn’t the one you should be in. It’s the 8plus that has the 1080 screen and more memory 256gigs. It also has a larger battery and can record in 4K. Clearly, the smaller 8 isn’t the choice here. The 8plus was made at the exact same time period as well… 🤷🏻♂️
It’s a 8 plus I’m using and it’s working very good 2024

The 256gig memory card with the 1080 screen and updated battery…all of the accessories are at a fraction of the price on eBay…no brainer decision.
I’m using an iPod touch 7 generation has a cell phone till I get a new phone hopefully tomorrow I’ll get one it’s still hold up fine

I think it’s better to try to find a cheap iPhone SE 2nd gen! (Not the new generation). It’s the same phone basically but it has a much bfaster chip, and it’s still supported on iOS!

An Iphone 8 refurbed with a totally new battery cost nothing, and is a great phone still for the price.
Only problem is really the discontinuation of IOS - right now ios16 is still great, but eventually, it will reject the newest app versions.
Probably an SE 2 of SE 3 is a better refurbed deal for those reasons.

iPhone XS maybe 2 years with software support and 2 years more with working apps (just maybe).
As for the iPhone 8 Plus, 2 years max for apps to become slow and unsupported.

I mean that iphones have very good and addictive system for using, and home button is insane in this 😊,but the battery is not very good opposite to android, im android user and I tested this phone, with new battery. And also Android have more open system.
😅 But i dont know, because you will fall in love with using the iPhone so much that it is sometimes difficult to make a decision

The newer iPhones have much better battery life! These older models have pretty small batteries that over time degrade very quickly!
The newest iPhone 15 Pro is rated for 1000 cycles and still resting 80% battery health!

iPhone 8 is perfectly fine; it does EVERYTHING (except maybe camera resolution …) all the new iPhones do at 1/4 of the price hahahaha
Paying cash for a NEW model iPhone (ie iPhone 14,15 etc) is a waste of money. Unless it comes with your plan or you get it as a gift; upgrading to a new iPhone is a waste of money.
Screen replacement, battery replacement and replacement parts are approximately 1/2 the price of NEW model iPhones (ie iPhone 14,15 etc)
If it runs a recent iOS version (16-17) it will be just fine for every day use. The only downside is really the cameras!

If it still works and you don’t have any problem with it, don’t worry! If you want to make even better, check the battery replacement program, although I don’t think it’s worth it currently…
