so what was the problem? was it a shorted out alternator or the 100 amp fuse? why did you not hook the alternator back up?
It was shorted alternator
Did you need a new alternator?

Exact same symptoms..replaced alt. Did not fix.
Did you check for shorted on alt?

Same happened to me, did you fix it ? I replaced to a new alternator but still same issue. The fuse was bad but I replaced it too. And did not fix it
