It's funny just how often 28-3 scores come up in these comebacks, and only because the Falcons blew it in the super bowl with that score does anyone even notice it nowadays. Oh well, those numbers can't hurt me anymore.
There's something about that "3" that seems to signal a blowout in the works (and you need to have a blowout in the works to have a big comeback). I've always said I'd rather turn on the game and see my team down 14-0 than 14-3.
@@Farting-2 It’s because the “3” signifies a failure by your offense to convert on third downs, while the “0” signifies a strong defense opposing your offense. It feels better to then overcome that strong defense than to keep failing on third downs and winning field goals.
@@PatriotMapper That's just bad logic. Why is a failure on 3rd down a "failure by your offence" if it happens deep in enemy territory, but it's "strong defence" if it happens in your own territory? Either way, the defence stopped you.
Besides the full comeback in just one quarter, (which is impressive) I look at it like the first team scored all their points early, while the other team scored theirs late. Same deal, they just got their points at different times. It's not really that mind blowing if you think about. Yeah you're down by a lot, but you obviously have a chance to score just as many points and catch right back up.
That game is one of the few things to haunt me to this day. I knew the Giants were going to lose once Strahan went up to TO and pointed at the scoreboard
@@TheGridironYTyou changed it didn't you? Because before, it showed a team down 33-0, and winning 38-10. That's literally impossible. You changed it, even though that 33-0 comeback was between the colts and vikings, not the chiefs and vikings
I know I'm biased but to me the oilers bills game is the greatest comeback in NFL history. Yea I know the bills had a 32 point deficit compared to the colts vikings game at 33 points but buffalos comeback happened in the playoffs against a playoff team. Doesn't quite compare to the vikings comeback against a mediocre at best colts.
Fun fact that the NFL has been trying to hide for years now and fans ignore, is when Benny Cunningham, Larry Johnson, Junior Galette, Chris Borland, Tim Brown, Jerry Rice, and many others have all blown the whistle on signing non-disclosure agreements contractually obligating them to go along with the script. And said players purposely missed tackles once they got the word from "upstairs" "It's just business and entertainment, we already knew tge winner before taking the field" same guys 👆 Look at the games just from the few weeks of this season. How many videos are there of defenseman purposely missing a tackle? Or had a WIDE OPEN shot at the ball carrier and turned INTO one of the blockers Instead lol literally lined up for the tackles and then TURNED AWAY from the ball carrier. Too obvious now
The 49ers comeback against the Saints in 1980 marked the birth of the San Fran Dynasty and the team of the 80s💯🏆👍
Tru that
The 1980 saints are one of 5 teams to start 0-13 and not go winless.
As long as I live, I will never forget the energy in that stadium in Jacksonville that night. I go back to that moment often.
💯💯💯

because losing 28-3 is not as bad as losing 28-3 in the super bowl, shanahan sold that

As a Colts fan i think of that playoff game against KC all the time. I try to forget that Minnesota game and 2022 season every day
Never forget
Somebody check on poor Matt Ryan as he was a part of those 2 blown leads.. might’ve taken some years off of his life
Biggest comeback ever and biggest Super Bowl comeback we’re all against him
😂😂😂
I still can't believe the Colts were up 33-0 and lost.
😂
I can, those Colts were horrible, and they never should have been up 33-0 to begin with
@@TheGridironYT and of course the Vikings had to do that (as a Vikings fan upsets are common when our team is playing)
Courtesy of my boy Kirk Cousins!
Why does Bosa sound like he just smoked a blunt 😅😅
Maybe he did
If he chose 24 points, the chiefs epic playoff comeback against the Texans should be on here
Tru but there r too many 24 point ones. Also 4 possessions behind with 25
Brady and Belichick's master plan: Get the Falcon's to keep throwing the ball in obvious running situations for some reason
😂
The colts are in the vid 3 times

When u down by a lot, it’s also more of a challenge mentally to come back
1:19 the pats vs falcons is the only 28-3 people talk about what bout this one
well that was the super bowl and was much more serious
Yea Super Bowl
In 2010 the Bills would be down 7-28 against the Bengals and win that game 49-31.
that’s a 21 point deficit
🧐
Tom Brady also came back from 24 down too
But that’s not what the title is saying!
Sept.23 1979
Broncos down by 24 vs Seahawks and won 37-34
Oilers down by 24 vs Bengals and won 30-27 overtime
Did you know this?
Yea but 4 score games are another level of difficulty
isn’t it crazy that those are 24 point deficits and this video is 25+? just read the title
@@MTGFaded 🙏🏽
It's 25+ not 24+ or the video would of been super long
I think Mahomes largest comeback deficit was 24, not 25
Yea u right
Its funny how the colts lost not once but twice to a 25+ point comeback
😂
25+ huh? We all know exactly what this is about
4 score game or more
@@TheGridironYT oh yeah, sure
2002 NFC Wildcard: Giants vs 49ers. 24 point deficit. Final Score: 39-38 49ers.
Truu

Didn’t they miss an obvious pass interference. Yeah they shouldn’t have won that
28-3. Enough to convert the entire story.
And 33-0. Wow. May Ryan wow
😂
couldve been the packers on sunday 😥
I know right
The thumbnail makes no sense
