During that 2 weeks there was no air, filtration or food in any of the aquariums. All of the Neocardinia died, but in other aquariums, we lost one yellow rainbow. All of the other various barbs, tetras and a couple of other rainbowfish survived. I was completely stunned. One thing I forgot to add was that the plants did really well during those two weeks!

It helps even when the power is on but the door is being opened frequently. The condenser mechanism needs to fire up less often so less wear and tear and less energy waste.
The original quote was "in matters of taste the customer is always right." Meaning a customer could pick an incredibly ugly hat and if they think it's the greatest thing ever then of course it is. I got an aquaclear 110 to use as a rotating clean up filter for my 6 75 gallons that otherwise each have 2 sponge filters in them. So far it's working out really well

I'm such a noob. I went to treat my tank with paracleanse and when I removed my carbon filter I accidentally took the grate as well. 2 weeks of old food and poop spilled into the tank. I then jumped to action and cleaned the water and the retreated with paracleanse. Smh, 2 weeks into this hobby and I have messed up left and right. Now I have to restart the cycle as I lost all bacteria to the antibiotic. However all my fish are still alive...phew!
I'll be honest, thinking back on your question on memberships with TH-cam vs your website, I'd rather just be a member on your website. I think ALL of the benefits for the membership have come from you guys while it's been a half baked product on TH-cam's part trying to recreate Twitch subscriptions.
All the bad customer talk... The worst experience I ever had working retail was over $.12. Not 12 dollars, 12 cents. The woman was yelling, swearing, accusing me of stealing from her, over $.12 that she said I didn't hand back to her when I actually had. And I couldn't just give her another $.12 without my manager because we could only be off by so much per day and/or per month without getting written up. It took 2 managers to get her to stop yelling and leave after they gave her the repeat $.12. And I had to go to the back room to calm down.

We bought the home during the pandemic. The quote for a generac installed at 37k. I have a generac being delivered on Wednesday, at a fraction of the original buy price during the pandemic, and am looking to get it installed. I basically wasn't willing to pay 2-3x during the pandemic, when I knew if I waited, prices would return to some level of reasonable.

Potentially. Depends on the logistics, and weather the store is willing to foot the shipping bill. We suspect it'll only make sense at scale at the cargo container level.
Also, what about getting points towards "free" membership for doing things like posting verified purchaser product reviews and if you post photos or videos, you get more points? Also points based on dollars of product purchased?
It's something we've considered. Bringing the membership on to our website allows that. Loyalty type programs require a while full time job to keep up with bugs, and customer service stuff, implementation etc. But it's definitely been floated as an idea.

Subject: lifetime membership I've paid for membership a few times but admit to also getting lazy and not keeping it up at times as well I would be willing to pay $120 for a lifetime membership, now that is only the equivalent of 2 years of payments but at the same time there are a lot of long-term members but how many members only do a month or two and then quit but would likely buy the lifetime membership also while it's not something that is necessarily good but it's still worth speaking about in business how many people get big into aquariums and would likely buy a lifetime membership but in a year or two or less will likely get burned out and quit anyway just my two cents still going to follow the channel no matter what but if lifetime membership was a thing I think the max I would give would be around 120-150 I think it would be hard for TH-cam to integrate though due to membership tiers
I would be much more likely to join if it was not on you tube as I would feel that the business I want to support would be getting my money, I'm not 100% happy with some of you tube's behaviours and would rather not give them more of my pennies.

You are still more lucky than I am.. I can't even buy any stuff in coop, cause I live in Australia so i can't even shop at his store- online or physical. Cory tried but had problems with importer ect. I thank Cory for at least trying.
