Akaso had update the Brave 7 internal microphone hence calling it version2. All the external packaging and design of the camera is the same. Just the internal microphone had been upgraded. On the "about camera", u can find the firmware ".....v2" to determine yours is a version2.
So, does the version2 solve the mic problem of Brave 7 audio quality? For me its a welcome improvement, but its still not good enough if your compare it to Brave 7LE or Osmo Action. Hopefully the V3 will be better.
Can't wait for the upcoming brave 8!
Thank you for doing the testing on the new version 2. I thought the internal microphone on the version 2 was better than the version 1. But both were no where close to the Osmo Action camera.

Osmo action no longer available. Discontinue. Only have Osmo action 2. And Dji dont allow us to sell online on Lazda or Shopee. Only direct on retail shop or via direct purchase thru phone contact

Yeah, a little improvement on the internal microphone for Brave7 v2. For the external is just the same from my opinion. Of course Osmo Action having much better quality sound of it's internal microphone. But nice to see and get to know the different between both AKASO's. How about the price for both AKASO's? Is it the same between Brave7 v1 and v2? Can't wait for Brave8 videos! 🙂👍
