Great vid and review, Thank you so much. I bought a pair of these two weeks ago and ran the Two Oceans 56km today. While everyone is different, I couldn't recommend these more. 🙌 Awww doggie 😊
I had to send my first pair of 20’s back to saucony after 100 miles because the midsole virtually collapsed and became dangerous soft and unstable ( I’m a light runner 72kg) they agreed that the midsole was faulty and they replaced the shoe no quibble (hats off saucony) . I’ve gone past the 100 mile mark in my replacement pair of 20’s and they are fantastic and don’t see reason to invest in the 21 at the moment but your points about the upper are noted so that might change when the shoe gets discontinued near the launch of the 22. Thank you once again Emily for you great work on our behalf. Ian 🇬🇧
Thank you RLH! Bounce down the road or grip yourself down the road. Mechanics are way different when you have bouncy foam or rubber. Weight and the flex or sinking. Heel striker or midfoot striker. And the factor of the shape. I liked the mizuno insole. Firmness and molding? I dont like high heel to toe. Thanks. Righteousness. Friends!
The 20 was nice and a really nice ride just way to unstable for me I wish they added some TPU rubber or a dense outsole. I’m glad the upper looks better and fits better then the 20
Useful video. Seems like the upper is definitely better and does sound like a few people enjoying midsole more than 20 despite it being the same! Think I’ll pay the extra to get the 21. 👌
Hi Emily! So the weather where I live has been unbearable as of late…dying to run outside but I’m not on that level. Both shoes I own are carbon plated, neutral and bouncy (NB SC trainers and Endorphin pro 3 = ❤) What shoes would you recommend for treadmill runs? 🥺
The last Triumph I tried my pinkie toe hung over the edge of the bottom sole. It was strange. My foot is medium to wide but not that wide. I tried the medium width and the wide width. Not sure what caused this, but this review makes me want to try this new version.
Emily, you might be saving this for another video but since the 20 is on sale now, would you get that instead of the 21? Is the 21 that much improved that it’s worth it to spend the extra $30 or so?
@@NF_08 I did not say the shoe has/had more arch support, I do not own a pair, only that it Looked to be supporting her arch better than other shoes she had posted lately. Thanks though, Doc.
What I meant to say? You mean how You interpreted what I said. You even mentioned it yourself. I Think What You Meant To Say Was......I have xray vision, and you are a mind reader. We could have been a dynamic duo.
With multiple reviewers having the same observation, I’m wondering if the midsole is either a slightly different formula of the same foam, or whether the changes of the upper make the midsole feel different functionally as I suspected even before you mentioned that. Or a little of each. When the upper only changed in the Endo Speed 2 I felt the ride changed significantly from v.1, as another example.
Love your shoe reviews as always, but would like to see any training plans you're doing. I'm preparing for a half marathon. This Texas heat is no joke though 😢
I loved the Ride 15 as a daily trainer, possibly an all-time favorite but the Ride 16 still feels kind of dull after 150 miles in them. Wondering whether if I would enjoy Triumph 21 more, many seems to swear by the Triumph (I haven’t tried any version of it). Thanks for great reviews and content!
It’s funny that every reviewer says “it feels better even though it’s essentially the same midsole”. We have to realize there are no “rules” that companies need to follow for their trademarked materials, such as the PWRRUN+ in this shoe. They might have completely changed the formulation from last year.
Great job on video!! QUESTION: Your take on, Triumph 21 vs Nimbus 25, they seem extremely similar??.. Alright on Rubster, her pee job was just letting vet know, " No more needles, do we have an understanding??" 😂😂
A lot of reviewers are scared to give clear answers. I'm glad I don't have to be a mind reader with your reviews. Thank you!
Thank for you this compliment!
Yah.. I am not American so I have to read between the lines.. Like if something is bad they will say can be improved next model year..

I have the Triumph 20. Very comfortable and lasts forever. Very good energy return. I even have a PB with it 🎉
Great review, thanks! Funny, Meaghan from Believe in the Run had a very similar opinion of 21 vs 20.
Another great review! (love the Chicago shirt!)

I had them and sent them back. The 10mm drop felt too high for me.

Fordy runs also couldn't explain how the upper made everything feel better lol
Banana Mac Nut is a cool color!
Great review going to chk shoe out color like a cannery yellow. And hi ruby no sleeping upside-down :)

I’d love to try them, currently running on the 20s and they are great. These look like a good update
Loving the music!
The upper part of sneakers is yammy with summer notes. Why so many haters?
The real downside is cleaning the midsole.

Hmmm I think I’d probably pay full price for the 21! Feels better to me
Triumph 17 was heaven. I don't dare to buy any other from the Triumph line-up. Any other tgan 17 can only be hell 🤣🤣🤣
From someone that also loved the 17 and the 20, I think you should reconsider.
@@ventilateoxygenate4815 and you should reread
Was considering these but wondering if I should wait for the Kinvara Pro!
Good Morning. Thanks for always giving us great content. What kind of socks do you use to train in?
Usually a brand called wrightsock
My foot 25,5cm x 9,8cm, what size i choose? How wide this shoe? Many thanks!
Seems from your ON FOOT video, it gives you a little better arch support than some of the shoes you reviewed lately.

I will be posting videos on my nyc marathon training once I get going!
How does this compare to the Hoka Clifton 9?
The Clifton feels more nimble on foot, but perhaps slightly less energy return than the triumph
These really seemed to support your over pronation as well (I wrote that before you mentioned it in the video lol)
How is the breathability of the upper?
It’s good!

I have the Ride 15. Boring and hard. Triumph 20 is AMAZING.
I loved the Ride 15 as well but the Triumph 20’s provide more bounce to my daily miles
@@joeestrada57 Absolutely. I use the Ride 15 for running with friends who are NOT in shape.. For my easy runs I use the Triumph 20. Amazing shoe.
@@joeestrada57 I’ll try the Triumph 21 the next time, thanks. Ride 16 is a more boring shoe as compared to 15 imo.
How does the toe box compare to the Ride 15? I have loved previous Ride variations but the 15 feels so much more narrow.
Do you like it better than the 17?
Hmmm. No probably not lol
Is it better than 20?
Yes

Triumph is going to be firmer and bouncier than the Nimbus. The Nimbus is way softer
@@RunLikeHeller Thank you
