Thanks a lot Jamie for the great recipes. I love soups, especially in winter. My favorite is minestrone. But often, I make a vegetable soup with "left over" veggies. Can be carrots, leeks, broccoli, spinach, mushrooms etc. I usually add either lentils or potatoes, cook the veggies and the blend it to a cream and add a tiny amount of cream. And to make a full meal out of it, I serve it with bread croutons, or small pieces of a hard cheese, like Gruyere. Its always different, always tasty and a good way to use up veggies that arent super fresh anymore.

I have done this ever since I chopped a huge heap of onions in a professional kitchen and realised the reason I was fine with it was because the nearby extractor fan was pulling the fumes away.

There should have been an older person with him - they picked fresh salad or herbs and it may contain squash or feta - she isn´t sure tho. In the end it kinda looks like an egg roll to her . Does anyone know which recipe it is ?

As a brazilian I must say: watching a chef using industrialized beans in a box is so awkward! Seems like a cheat. Guys, learn how to cook natural beans, it's not rocket science. Every 80 years old grandma's here can cook beans that is at least 20x tastier that these beans in a box...

Wear contact lenses, no crying when chopping onions. :)
The trick is not to cut in the root of the onion. That's where most of the eye watering stuff hangs out.
Is that why I never cry when slicing onions? I do wear contacts I have worn them since I was 13.
