Amazing! I was an Air Force Brat (UASF). I can remember the addresses of every house we lived in, the state,the city, the name of my schools, and the names of all of my teachers. My school bus number was 49 and the driver was Mrs. Rhodes. I even remember my childhood phone number (after Dad retired). I can remember the names of my childhood dentists. I can remember the names of the cities we lived in when we were stationed in France (I was 4 years old). I still remember what a REAL French Croissant smells and tastes like❣️ I remember the name of every pet……. I’m almost 70 years old. And believe me, I don’t have a particularly great memory.

He sounds like someone who arrived from China who learned English at school and via American instructional videos. Other episodes of this series have Chinese people speaking English with a clear Aussie accent mixed in or perhaps a British influenced accent, but still clearly a Chinese accent.
So how does that work denying entry to someone that lives there? I mean got a house, business, belongings. How does all of that get "handled"? Auctioned off by the govt?

And any remaining funds would be returned to him (assuming they are not determined to be accessed through proceeds of crime: ie false identity) after serving detention and before being returned to the country of his actual citizenship.
We don't know any of that (at least not that he has real estate). But someone clearly with a false identity who is found to be a Chinese citizen is clearly not going to be allowed back any time soon. Yes, Australia has compulsory voting in all elections and referendums, the fine for not at least showing up is $50 from the last time I checked. It’s still a secret ballot though, once you have your ballot paper, it’s still possible to spoil your vote and no one can trace it to you unless you write anything identifiable on it. Legally, you still need to vote even if you’re homeless! It is nice though that elections are usually always held on the weekend instead of a Tuesday like how it is in the US, and you can apply to vote from home by post if you can’t make it on the day. They send the ballot papers to you and then you send it back. There’s a few reasonable excuses for not voting on the AEC website.

Parent relocating to China wouldn't affect whether or not someone is still considered an Australian citizen. However, that was all a cover story. He had a counterfeit (or possibly stolen/illegally sold although that would be less likely) Australian birth certificate that was used to establish his identity. That date of birth would have corresponded to when Australia still had jus soli citizenship (pre 1986).

They had a lot more than just the accent. They might have even been tipped off by the Australian Federal Police. There were only records on this guy for about two years. Unless he was totally off the grid, that's pretty much impossible. It was probably via a fake birth certificate purporting to be from a time when Australia had jus soli citizenship. However, I'd think anyone trying a stunt like that today would probably run into an issue with the birth certificate. All official records would be in an official database and the passport issuing authority would likely check against the official records.

Actually i know a lot of people from the philippines using tourist visa and work in australia and for me i think its easy to make fake reasons even you go as a tourist then later on you will apply a residency in australia than any country in the world 🎉🎉🎉even you dont have money try to go as a tourist its easly to work like 1 of my neighbors did and now a citizen👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
are they allowed to assume just because you have an accent you're not born in the country? aren't there cases where they have dual citizenship? couldn't they have been born in australia and then moved to their 2nd country as a baby?
He said he grew up and went to school in Australia. If he learned English in Australian schools, he would speak it with an Australian accent. Besides, China doesn’t allow dual citizenship.

His accent is typical China raised. More specifically, from Shanghai or surroundings. Also, China doesn't allow dual citizenship.
They had a lot more than just the accent. They might have even been tipped off by the Australian Federal Police. There were only records on this guy for about two years. Unless he was totally off the grid, that's pretty much impossible.
It was probably via a fake birth certificate purporting to be from a time when Australia had jus soli citizenship.
However, I'd think anyone trying a stunt like that today would probably run into an issue with the birth certificate. All official records would be in an official database and the passport issuing authority would likely check against the official records.

@@k1896 I wonder if they checked more on the Vehicle and Who Shipped it, Was it owned buy the Ones Hiding the Drugs??? or was it an innocent persons car just being used? And if it was the later was the owner Notified and asked if they could do what they were doing?
