    This is so simple, logical and genius! I have been crocheting off and on for 3O years, and always stuck to either solid color projects or projects that require 3 colors or less with alot of rows or rounds per color, because of this very problem. I want so badly to upgrade my crochet skill and make so many beautiful patterns from magazines I've collected, but the overwhelming thought of struggling with tangled yarn has stopped me every time. Of all the tips I've seen or tried, this one looks so easy, it leaves me with nomore excuses for not getting out of my comfort zone and trying out more colorful patterns! Thank you!

    cute idea, I put my yarn in a large storage zip up bag and close the zip to a certain point and move it along with my WIP.

    I naturally flip my work one way then the other between rows to prevent twisting, but I guess this works too :)

    • @pandapower5902
      @pandapower5902 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      what do you mean you flip it?

    • @HaydenSmithElevate
      @HaydenSmithElevate 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@pandapower5902 I mean turning the work to go back the other way. I'll turn it clockwise on one row and then counter clockwise on the next row to keep the strands from tangling

    • @pandapower5902
      @pandapower5902 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@HaydenSmithElevate ohhh ok yeah i know what you mean. But if you change colors multiple times within the row what do you do. I have a hard time keeping out tangles with tapestry crochet

    i work with an old guy who keeps his yarns in empty oatmeal containers. you know, the round tall ones. his stuff never tangles.
