I absolutely adore your method. I searched a long time and found some very elaborate set ups. I myself tried several elaborate set ups of my own only to have a tangled mess still. Yours is by far the best.! I hope you continue to make a go of your TH-cam channel because you did very well.

I wonder if you would have to get a long tray or a couple of them for a big afghan?
I have actually used one of those rolling carts from micheals (3 trays on wheels) for really big projects.
can you do sample project from beginning for people that want to learn how to fo c2c graph. There is heart one I saw youtube and wanna learn how to make . Something like block size
I can definitely create a video on that! Stay tuned!!
Loved this! I’m a newbie to this. Question - do you slip stitch color changes or do you tie off? Thank you!😊
Depends on if the color continues after the change ... I try to look ahead and see if carrying the yarn will pick up again soon after.
@@iboughtmoreyarn2894 Great - thank you! I’ve been intimidated by trying one of these.
I was intimidated at first as well ... you just gotta jump in and give it a go! It's very rewarding once you get the hang of it. :)
Thank you for your tip I've tried c2c an can't seem to do it correctly. Can you tell me what size hook you normally use.
My go to is the 4.5 mm. But it also depends on project and yarn used. Good rule of thumb, follow what is suggested on the yarn.
I think that the tray will work even better if it had dividers for each yarn ball/skein.
Very true! I have added dividers into large baskets from dollar store too, and it worked great.
This is genius
Thank you!
O m g. THANK YOU
To make it easier, just simply turn your project back and forth (left to right) and it will not tangle. In other words, just flip back and forth.
Yes, that's great for just one color, but in multiple color work this method helps! :)
I only use my method when working multiple colors.
