I'm new to cnc. I have an aluminum part that has a 2D pocket with a hole at the bottom out the bottom of the part. Should I bore the hole and then clear the pocket, or should I clear the pocket and then bore the hole?
Hi, my machine is working but if i want to mill i have to put the Z axle zero on the material i want to mill not on the table is that a G code mistake?
You can decide yourself where to put the zero of Z in your CAM software, and must put the zero of the machine accordingly. This can be on top of the spoilerboard or on top of the material. We recommend putting the zero on top of the spoilerboard so there's no negative Z value in the G-code and you can quickly see if you made a mistake in your CAM.
Excellent Video!
Thanks Mark ! :-)

Both will work just fine but I would say that if you make the pocket first, the mill will cool down more easily when you bore :)
How do I pay for a part from PlanetCNC in USD?
In the context of Mekanika CNC milling machines, PlanetCNC comes with the machine you purchased.
