This is such superb info! thanks for making this video. Now I know most leather jackets ive been looking at for around £150-200 today are basically bs and barely clasify as leather compared to my old full grain jacket of 20 years ago. 😂

Hi Tanner, could you do a video on real vegan leather (coming from pinaple, apples, mushrooms)? Does it wear the same as real leather?

This is a really late reply but even vegan leather from fruits,etc. is at least partly plastic.
Currently the only maybe viable looking leather is mushroom but there’s no official product being made nor sold.

When you see leather listed at 8oz-9oz is that considered full grain or top grain?
