Kings Big Daddy Deluxe Double Swag Five Star Modifications

Sharing our modications and experiences with the Kings Big Daddy Deluxe Swag. Three innovations to improve our comfort when camping in the swag along the Murray River were firstly, an airmattress underneath the swag. Secondly a tarp covering the swag and thirdly adding some eyelets to the canvan entrance laps.
Overall we enjoyed sleeping in the swag, especially in the warmer weather because of the excellent ventilation. Initially it was a bit too hard for us, perhaps because we are no longer spring chickens, but with the airmattress beneath it was very soft and comfortable.
The tarp over the swag provided shelter from the rain and hot sun.
The eyelets allow some ventilation while maintaining privacy.
Overall, these a a good cheap swags.

The King Double Swag was quite infamous for the sides sagging inwards. 1 and 1/2 pool noodles joined used to spring the sides out. 🤠
