Well done to the Welsh lads who put it up to one of the best teams in the world, and defended so well. Well done to the Irish team who through a difficult and slack period in the game, came out with a good result!

Good win in the end for Ireland! Wales have always been one of the toughest teams to play against in the Six Nations, no matter where their team is at and it was the same again for this fixture. They have the makings of a really good team here - Good luck against France to all the Welsh fans!

Wales are incredible, I don't think any other team could throw in a number of young inexperienced players yet compete so ferociously. Ireland maybe didn't play to their full potential, and the result may not have been in doubt, but my goodness, that was a difficult game for Ireland and they were fortunate to get the BP win. But genuinely hats off to Wales, done the Jersey proud.

Well done to the Welsh lads who came out fighting in the second half and really put it up to the Irish lads and didn't let their heads fall. For such a young team, away from home, it was impressive and I think this team will be amazing in a few years; though I personally think they would benefit from a coach like Pat Lam rather than playing warrenball! It has to be said, though, that the Irish team played like it was a training exercise for a lot of the match. At half time I watched them as they went into the tunnel and most of them didnt look like they broke sweat.

Good win 👌, but really wasn’t a big fan of the new ref! Was sometimes a little lenient to one side than other.

There is something kind of ironic watching Irealnd put in virtually the entire team into that maul try, against a team managed by Warren Gatland. Who was the first to utilize the tactic waaaaaaaay back when he was Connacht coach.

Didn't he use a 15 man lineout with Wales once to try and score a consolation against NZ?

The hell was Dyer trying to do at Frawley's try? Did he attempt to fight with the goalpost or what? 😄

I looked at that too. I think he was trying to anticipate the offload and bit in to way too hard.
Im not sure if he would have been able to stop Frawley even if he had of made the right call.

Ireland’s attacking shape was not there, 14 man team for 20 mins of the second half. Will need to be better for the next two.

Ireland. STILL suffering from an inferiority complex. How many Number 1 sides can beat the World Cup winners, in the same tournament, and still come out losers? Come on Ireland. You get one, you’ll get more.

Great game. Shame they had to have a male impersonator adding her bit. Equality is going too far - 30 blokes playing, of the worldwide audience probably 90% blokes. Love women but men's rugby is not their place.
