I feel you brother.. detecting is a way of life.its my muse. I recently had some huuuge loses in my life, and detecting literally saved my life from addiction and suicide. don't you listen to the idiots that want you to water down your videos, I love the trash pandas and all the other silly plots you have. Your not boring,that's what i like about you and your videos. So have a great 2022. I live in maine I scored 39 rings this year between my normal 8 beaches I go to. I store my finds in plastic ammo boxes if it is durable enough for ammo it is durable enough for anything you find detecting.
The coin that was turned into something at around the 40min mark is Australian 6 or 3 pence. I find lots of them over here!

The button with the eagle and anchor, you found not too long ago, could be an USMC button from mid 1800. They are very rare. only around 1500 US Marines at that time. Check it out

me too, w/ the insomnia, merrill. been getting worse for over 20 years. it used to only be once in a while. now its every night. i take melatonin, or zzzzquil and still wake up. im up for a couple hours then i go back to bed. couldnt today though only 5 hours last night. see a doctor, my friend.

Merril check the back of the military flight wings many are sterling. Also had a large box of assorted finds and put it in an auction on consignment and it will suprise you how much it will bring. Just find a general merchandise auction and hope for the best.

I am sorry your long commute cuts into your life and hope 2022 finds a new opportunity. Keep up with your creative videos, you are not made for just the ordinary. Hey I don’t know how to comment on a short but if you’re trying to sell your gold you live in a good place. Go down to the diamond district and find someone that will give you 95% of spot price. At least 90% BUT I STRONGLY RECOMMEND you weigh them and sell them on either eBay or a website of your own creation for LEAST DOUBLE scrap price. If there are nice stones then more. Find comps online,see what they go for. I’d sell them as jewelry and not scrap. Unless you need the money right away. JUST MAKE SURE YOU KNOW THE WEIGHT AND DONT TAKE 50-75% OF SPOT PRICE

Dad-gum, I think you really STOPPED at that stop sign.
i'm not sure you have a recycleable plant that pays you for the scrap you collect, it might be a good thing to look for & any scrap metal might give you some extra money from metal detecting. I had to start doing this because around where I was detecting was a lot of steel scraps & other trash. it's not gold but it put some cash in my pocket in a pinch & it makes the search more fun & takes metal waste out of the park & community area
There are crafters, collage artists and jewelry makers who would be able to use the stuff you're throwing away. Maybe next year do a raffle or sell bags of your "rejects" instead of sending them to the landfill. I, for one, would be interested.
Also, there are places that buy any gold or silver however small for cash. You can save up a bag of little broken stuff or scraps and bring them in. Ask around your area to find a reputable silver/gold buyer. It's a few bucks here and there, but keeps the stuff from accumulating in your home.
@@momtrips6783 Good point, copper is the rarest non-precious metal. (i.e. expensive). save all the copper scraps and cash out once a year. Every little bit helps for your stock portfolio. Also save the lead to help with pollution. Hospitals, now, recycle lead. They can tell you who regularly buys the metal. They get their radioactive chemicals in protective lead sleeves.
