At one point in the game, you can find datapads from Kett studying the Milky Way species, and their notes on said species. Under Turians, it mentions that they have "reach and flexibility", which you'll recognize if you're a fan of Garrus :'-)
The Arcon will also in one of the audio logs for the Asari he will mention Embracing Eternity the phrase embrace eternity used by Liara and Shiala in Mass Effect 1 when mind melding with Shepard.
there is an Easter egg in the post credits epilogue, where pathfinder scrolls through the emails with well wishes and thanks for finding Meridian and waking them, there is a mention from Vertical Tethras, mentioning that he should write a story about the Pathfinder. Sera also makes a drop-in, but under Red Jenny.
There was another Star Wars related Easter Egg.. When the Tempest lands on Voeld, Ryder will say to Kallo "Want me to get out and push". Princess Leia said the same thing to Han Solo when they were trying to escape Hoth during the Empire's attack.
same........its more fun on insanity for me........gives me a chance to test out all the guns and see which ones are the most effective......and armour........personally.....25 percent shield restore on kill is extremely helpful ...........and shield drain.....save my life a whole lot of times
I opted out when they established contact with an alien species from another Galaxy and no problems with communication, planetary atmosphere or germs. Also, why even have it set in Andromeda? This could have just been a part of the Milkyway that wasn't connected through the Mass Relays. Would have given them the same amount of freedom without them having to answet questions they clearly didn't care about. But its okay, I don't get mad when one of my favorite franchises has one bad entry. Unlike the "I don't like this. The franchise is dead!" Crowd.
seriously what is everyones problem with this game? it is absolutely spectacular and the most fun I've had playing a game in a loooong time. a few weird facial expressions and body movements here and there but it does an amazing job of getting you to feel like you are actually a part of a space exploration crew
RIPJimmyA7X it's not a horrible game but it's certainly a disappointment. People wanted and expected next gen Mass Effect, we wanted an evolution of the series we liked. Instead it devolved into a Dragon Age Inquisition clone that does everything that game did except arguably worse. They stripped away key features of the original games all in favor of making the player a wise-cracking super soldier who can explore open world areas.
Well there were many bugs for starters and maybe instead of a ton of Easter eggs they should have spent more time ironing out the game. The game only has 2 new alien races and technically it's the same race. You would be constantly be sent back to the planet you just came from after being sent a new mission on the ship having to sit through the cut scene again. I bet they did it on purpose to make the game seem longer and it became annoying. There aren't many planets you get to go on and some of the descriptions of the ones you dont seem pretty interesting. 2 of the 5 planets are sand and practically the same. The vaults become repetitive and all look the same which is a problem with the story construction in consideration to gameplay. Choices seem important but most of them actually have no consequence or branching story arc. The game has amazing potential but other then the new gameplay with the jump jets and skill sets the game fall short in almost every other area. It's no longer the RPG that the first game was where you get to chose who your character is and the choices that they make. However I did like the size of the maps. But for instance if I click the option for my character to say, "We can do this together." I dont want to hear a variation which neglects the importance of teamwork which happened in the game. The dialog tree was often different from what was said by the character. It breaks the element of role playing.
Some crybabies started criticizing the game and it became a huge hatetrain, many youtubers followed the same path for clicks and it was a huge circlejerk of hate. The game was really good, in fact Andromeda is better than mass effect 1, it has like 10x better maps, missions, combat, etc. Mass effect 1 didn't do anything other than set up the introduction of the story.
ME: Andromeda is an amazing game, I love it. Of course the release version was bugged as hell and that's definetely a minus but all in all it's a great experience and if you're turned off by the reviews I urge you to give it a chance.
There's a little easter egg in Voeld: In Techiix there's side mission named "Task: White Death" where you help Angara sniper named Over to hunt down cloaked wraith. After scanning it, he kills it with 1 shot. If you haven't realise, Orev himself and task's name are reference to Finnish sniper Simo Häyhä who's nickname was "White Death". He had over 500 sniper rifle kills and over 200 submachine gun kills during Winter War (1939-1940). He managed to get all of his kills in less than 100 days, without using scope, in -40 degrees Celsius and even survived bullet that went went through his jaw. He died in 2002 at age of 96. And is that coincidence that there's always -40 degrees Celsius in Voeld where smaller group is fighting against huge invader... And some Angara words sounds like Finnish... Coincidence?
I absolutely love Andromeda!! I don't care about glitches and shit, it doesn't make the game any less fun! This is the only mass effect I've continued to replay and replay again and a again.
About the Dawnstar comet; in the description you can also see that the comet is rich in nephrite (you can easily read that right here in the video even). Nephrite is more commonly known as... jade.
And in the museum on Aya the old statue/doll of an 'Angara' looks as much like a Prothean as the Asari deities do on Thessia, hinting at something much larger about the identity of the creators of the Remnant.
Ugh you know what I heard that one and all I thought was huh that was weirdly placed reference maybe? Eh whatever and now that makes sense I wouldn't be surprised if it was a reference
I got back into gaming a few years back, after college I took some time to get where I needed to be, anywho, one of the first series I wanted to get my hands on was the original Mass Effect and fucking loved it, despite all the shit people say about it, enjoyed it all and still play it to run different scenarios. When Andromeda was announced I knew there was going to be hate. I waited and saw the fucking shit show that happened. I waited for that to die down and bought my game (I usually wait for the hype to go down, because fuck the hype, it’s becoming a game killer) I got my game and played it...and I mean played it! 100 hours of gameplay! I love this game, the worlds, exploring. The characters can use work but it’s their introduction, hopefully not the end of this series, but it doesn’t seem like that will the case because of the initial hate. And I love the gameplay, that game play though! Switching profiles and setting up combos, weapon customization! Andromeda IS a great game. Companies need to not release AAA games before QA protocols. This new style of updating games as they come out is bad business. I still love the game and experienced all these easter eggs, which make want to go back and play the ME trilogy! Anyway, if you read all that thanks and game on!
Some more Easter eggs: Knight's son Alain was the replacement to David for Project Overlord, but that was already known It is a bit of a stretch, but Drack is actually Liara's paternal grandfather, which you can interpret when Shepard meets the matriarch/bartender in Ilium Liara T'Soni knew of Project Andromeda when she became the Shadow Broker and might have even helped fund the project.
Mass Effect Andromeda is one of the best RPG games to date with worlds so vast and so much to explore. Despite the face animation and many annoying bugs many have been complaining, the story line and hundreds missions and all the details involved make it the BEST MASS EFFECT GAME TO DATE. I highly recommend this game to anyone who like to explore and who like space adventures. MEA is 9/10 in my book. 1 point deducted for bugs.
Martin Zhang i really liked the game but, ryder is really boring sometimes, most of the angara sucks, without sam the game wouldnt happen, the archon is pretty much corypheus from DAI, 8/10
Martin Zhang wow alright. Best rpg games to date? No. Try the Witcher 3, Oblivion, any of the previous Mass Effect games, and any of the Dragon Age games. Mass Effect Andromeda is barely an RPG that gives you illusion of choice, and none of your choices actually matter in the story or the world like it did in the previous Mass Effect games, or any of the aforementioned RPG games above. Best mass effect game to date? Again, no. Considering how most fans were hugely disappointed with Andromeda and EA consequently gutted the Montreal team, and then abandoned the game along with future DLC, Andromeda was a failure. 9/10? No. It’s honestly anywhere between 4-6/10. The Witcher 3 is a 9/10. Mass Effect 1 would be a 8/10, Dragon Age: Inquisition is probably a 7/10. Mass effect Andromeda is Average at best and a disappointing failure at worst. I’m guessing your either a.) a troll praising this game to no end to illicit a response to people who didn’t like it. Or b.) a die-hard fan who would never ever dare to bad mouth a Mass effect game no matter how bad it actually is. The dialogue was cringeworthy and bad, the writing was bad, the story was more-or less a copy/paste of Mass Effect 1 with the main protagonist and their friends fighting a group of aliens bent on destroying the world and relying on the tech of an ancient long-dead race to help them. Even some of the characters were copy/paste of old ones. Peebee is a more annoying version of Liara with an Asari being obsessed with ancient alien tech Vetra is literally a female-Garrus , Drak is an older version of Wrex You have Liam and Cora that are the 2 starting human companions that no one cared about (Ashley and Kaiden, Jacob and Miranda, James and Kaiden or Ashley) Jellal is the only unique and original Companion.
There are about 20 missions worth doing and half of those are the main story. Andromeda is not worth the 90ish hours that it CAN provide and is, at best, a competent game with a lack-luster treatment of Mass Effect as a setting
Wtf? Story and characters sucked so bad. It was all empty. NO drama and no emotions in the game. Maybe after they complete the Andromeda trilogy it will somehow get better in the end
@@Haley123ful I think your 100 percent wroung game is good not a nine out of teen but a seven it’s better then most games that’s been released it’s a little cringe but story’s good and so is game play your just a heter
My favorite was the side quest on eledeen where the krot and at the front ask you to save Dr. okeers work data nice nod to mass effect 2 even referencing the super soldier that we come to know as grunt.
If you bring Jaal during the mission with the Salarian pathfinder he'll scream "The Mosha sends her regards!" and during the jumping part of the Voeld vault, Scott say's "Decision...decision," With a Dornish accent. Obvious GoT references.
This was such an awesome game genuine graphics alternative impactful story line, feel sorry for all the sheeple who fell for the reviews and didn't get it (my statement is result of the minor face glitches aside)
Come on... the game is good indeed, but those fucking enterprises gain millions, sometimes even billions of Dollars, and they deserve all the hate, sheep is people like you that choose to "not to see" all the defects the product has! You have to pay in order to have, so as a consumer you also has the right to point the mistakes, or not to buy it, like in this case. They'll eventually buy it sometime and see for themselves, but the hurt EA will feel in sales maybe teach them a lesson. I upvoted your comment because there is some truth in it, but you have to respect the ones that didin't like it, and a lot of people has been experienced issues throughout the game, if you played the game when it was at the patch 1.04 you probably found a lot of bad things, like Pheebe holding the gun backwards, the awkward krogan fight and many others... I loved the game, but to be honest, those things shouldn't be in the game and i'm with those guys that didin't bought it, i got the game because i fucking love the ME lore and i'm not disapointed at all, i haven't finished the game yet, i have more than 100 hours and i loved the game! But lets be honest, 90% of the face animations are lifeless and dull... this game could've been the game of the decade if they had face animations like L.A noire, a game from 2011... it's sad when you think about it, i hope they make things right in the next game. I'm playing it at 4k@60fps with HDR on, man this game is gorgeous, the fight system for me is way better than any other mass effect, the storyline is not one of the best but the other 3 set the bar too high for this one.
yeah you're right about if we don't speak up as consumers company's will just make whatever they want and shove it down their throats buy I think because of No man's sky and it's worldwide ridicule companies now know that If their game is not up 2 standard for the buyer it will have its downfall i.e age of internet. So yes Mass effect could have been released with the facial animation fixed to us we see it as how hard is it? and I know that millions were spent I just think it was too big of a game and the facials might have been overlooked, but because there are 3 mass effect games already how fresh of a story can you make which is why I think the kett storyline wasn't too bad obviously not up 2 par.I still havnt beat the game yet I just touched down on Ansara, for me when I love a game too much I prolong it as much as possible i.e try not to beat it too fast so I can savor the feeling
Same here mate, and i'm a little skeptical after the 3º game... i'm afraid the ending will let me down, i hope not, but we never know haha, so far so good, lets just hope that the same happen again (except for the 3º one), because at least for me, the second the was the best one and even with that controversal ending i still think that mass effect is the best trilogy ever made and nothing come close to it, after i finish Andromeda i'm going to play the other 3 again and i'll start a new game+ on Andromeda.
Thats bullshit. The whole story is boring as shit cuz its presented in a terrible way. Not a single character is interesting, their behavior strange and i did not feel the need to bond with one of them - just boring compared to former games. Talking to them is punishment after finishing up a planet. An initative like Andromeda should be filled with professionals, like any datapad and npc claims it is, but they are all just crazy. That weird naked scene with the armor piece for example - so many times i wished for an airlock to use. The game could be great if the story, dialogs, characters would be more serious, interesting and not a bunch of wackjobs.
+Joel Quinn Bullshit is you trying to impose your views and opinion as it was a fact... The game is far from terrible, of course it's not as good as the previous ones, but it's one of the best games of this generation, and if you dislike it, it's your opinion, not a fact.
This is a damn good game and better than the first 3 in many ways. I'm an rpg fan so I understand why some non-rpg fans would prefer a more linear game, but this game makes you feel much more like an actual space explorer.
it feels like the first game again, but bigger, and much more streamlined in as many aspects as you can imagine... like literally every complaint about ME1 that was removed from 2 and 3 fixed and reimplemented, (tho admittedly new ones introduced)
Sean Stewart Nah, they did really poorly with Andromeda. If it wasn't for the loyalty missions, funny dialogue and nomad drifting I wouldn't of enjoyed the game
The storyline is more linear. ME:A in general is a good game, but I think they should've done better considering what they were working off of. The Kett are literally the Collectors without wings.
SPOILERSThe problem with TIM = Benefactor Theory is that TIM is a stark Humanist, only using alien assets as expendable tools, like in the Omega 4 Suicide Mission, or if he knows they're just easy to manipulate (like Liara in the comic book series' search for Shepard's body). So why would TIM sponsor an inter-galactic voyage that would comprise mostly of aliens? Furthermore, why would TIM kill of Jien Garson, as this just opens the doors for 1 or several non-humans to take command of the Initiative... which is exactly what happens. Both in the games and books, TIM never eliminated a human asset until he had a backup asset standing at the ready; even Shepard was replaced by Kai Lang.
I mean, there's always a chance that she wasn't cooperating with Cerberus motives or goals. just a possibility. because I don't actually believe they're the 'benefactor.' side note, I absolutely love that this is the favorite plot thread among fans. as it should be.
Miranda says in ME2 that TIM is just the head of one of the sects of Cerberus. I would bet my life savings that The Benefactor is the head of a different sect, and that if MEA2 ever gets made (which I doubt will ever happen) Cerberus will play a big role.
There's a datapad on Voeld containing Archon's thoughts on the Milky Way species. The collected info on Turians mentions their superior "reach and flexibility."
Here come the haters who haven't even played the game... "yea bro but I seen the reviews and some gameplay... that had 2 minutes of bugs out of 100+ hours of gameplay."
The Cerberus shuttle may be old compared to Earth technology at the time of ME:A. But remember they were asleep for 600+ years, so technically it's pretty standard tech. Not old... Just a bit of info for a discussion? I'm not sure you guys will agree.
Not an Easter egg, setting down the fact that they are one of the stories planned in DLC (which DLC began production the day after launch, but the stories have been organized for a while). Currently, they have zero plans to make a series in Andromeda, just this game and a book or three, and possibly many comics depending on their third-party comic people.
+MrKirbyXIII I agree, it's not an Easter Egg, as it's kind of in-your-face and very clearly setting up DLC. However, I don't buy for a second that they don't plan a series in Andromeda (even if they've stated that they aren't) due to the simple fact that this is EA. EA is incapable of functioning without milking every last cent out of a franchise (witness the 11 BF games, 9 C&C games, 21 NFS games, and so on). Also, the kett are still out there, the Jaardan story needs to be played out (will they and/or their enemy return?), the Benefactor bit clearly will need to be answered, there's the entirety of the Andromeda galaxy and more potential races to discover, and the setup crew in Meridian states to return in a year and it'll be a spaceport capable of supporting missions deep into the galaxy. Frankly, there's just way too much to put in DLCs, and the comics/books just don't sell enough to justify cancelling games in exchange for the comics. ME3 brought in $200 million in its first 2 months, while the related comics/books topped out at $40,000 a month. ME:A isn't going to be that hot, but it sat at number 1 in sales for the first 3 or so weeks after release (numbers are still coming in) and the comics only obtain support if there's a series.
And then there's the wheel of cheese floating in space, a running gag in the Dragon Age series. (scan the Civki system after The Journey to Meridian.) Easter Eggs in DAI hinted that Thedas is actually a world in the Mass Effect universe, and now Easter Eggs in MEA seem to further confirm that.
I dont see why this game gets so much hate, dont get me wrong its not as good as the original trilogy, i think the open world element has taken away some of the character of the environments and a lot of the side quests feel a bit like an MMO and are boring however you get a lot of game for your money 90% of which is top quality so stop complaining
Thought it was pretty obvious Kandros was related to Nyreen, but who knew Zaeed had a kid or Conrad Verner had a sister or there are Krogan "geneticists' trying to find Warlord Okeer's lost data? Small touches like these make the game more palatable...for me at least.
No one found the gigantic cheese in space easter-egg? It's a refernce to the Dragon Age games (Allister loves cheese and in Dragon Age Inquisition you can find a cheese shield). I've got a screenshot of it
u forgot the restored memory of the shadow broker referencing barla von in financial district of citadel me1. and of course, a space mouse/hamster. I kept him, wonder what would happen if I released him?
Ðid anyone else notice Brandon Keener's voice as the narrator of the video your chosen Ryder character is watching? Couldn't have a Mass Effect game without Garrus could we?
Liam ads a movie as an atachment in one if his mails, which is about a day that repeats relentlessly until everything has been done right. A nice little reference to the movie "And daily greets the marmot" (translated from German, it might has another name in English).
With just a few patches expanding on the main premise and maybe a DLC with some additional story content, it could have been a great game. But sadly, the devs just abandoned it due to some nitpicking fans. #MEAndromedaWasNotBad
You mentioned about the game being set 600 years after the original games, while this is true they left the milky way before the events of mass effect three so the tech and vehicles would be the same as the initiative travelled in cryostasis.
People can complain about the game, but you cant deny, finding out the purpose of the andromeda initiative is the one of the best plot twists out there
when it was released, it was chock full of em. sleepy eyes, being the main one. also, many complained about Ryder being a weak main leader, and the companions also doing dumb things, which Ryder has to clean up.
Guys, please stop me if I'm wrong, buuut did you ever heard about theory, dragon age is just programe from mass effect universe which is playing on a big starship, where peoples are sleeping, and waiting for something... Maybe I'm awefuly wrong, but it sounds familiar to me, just what about that emails from Hawk and Varric?? This couldn't be just an easter egg, right? :D I'm sorry for my bad english, but around me there's nobody a can tell it :)
My wish is that someday we can get to a point where we can read/watch instructional media on ME:A with it needing to be prefaced with: "Despite all the bad press..." I get it, but the 15-minutes of hysteria about the game is over now. Can those of us left just get on with enjoying it?
I just started playing this, i know I'm late to the party, and i absolutely love this game so much so i downloaded the first 3 games right from the rip.
It's likely already been mentioned, but I thought the nug in a stasis pod in that hidden room with a sudoku lock near end of game was funny. And the anomaly you find as the wheel of cheese.
sure it takes place 600 years later but the left the milky way right after the events of mass effect 2 and before the arrival dlc, and traveled 600 yrs in cryo to andromeda
I really think Garrus's voice actor did the voice of a Turian you meet at Sloane's party on Kadara he is the one that did something really stupid by comparing the Angara woman that he like to her sister. If it wasn't him the voice actor sounds exactly like him.
the Cerberus shuttle on kadara there is a building with a krogan, salarian and asari being brain linked by 2 former Cerberus scientists i found it a few days ago
One that I found that wasn't an easter egg to other games but a fun little connection to someone else in the game. If you have enough pathfinders to save Cpt Dunn, she'll talk about having a "friend" who's looking to settle down in a small home with white picket fences. Sound familiar? :) Go to Prodrodomos on Eos August Bradley will tell you his future plans involve a home with a white picket fence.
I was a blind...Always thought does people who writes "first" were fools. But the urge when you see a clean, empty comment section with no comments...You just loose it...first...Now İ've found the answer to everything.Answers to the enigmas of millions of dimensions and universes...
As you grow older and become an adult, you will let that go. You'll seek meaning in life, as I had. You shall rise above and use your neurons to think! instead of typing 'first'
One thing you missed about the last secret is that after one of the memories SAM refers to 'The Benefactor' as "elusive". It might just be a coincidence but I don't think so.
That Derpy Guy Anything elusive is hard to get a hold of. It eludes you. Existentialism, love, and small rodents are among things people find elusive. If you can't understand what "nothingness" is, find that special someone, or catch the little mouse who eats your cake at night, then those things are elusive.
That Derpy Guy Something illusive, on the other hand, is not real, even if it seems to be. The word illusive is used mostly in literature, where we find our favorite illusions. If flickering candlelight is casting scary shadows on the wall, don't worry, those are illusive villains. They aren't really there.
I didn't ever scream at the damn game until I got to the very end and saw the messages from Varric, Hawke, and Anders. ESPECIALLY Anders' and Varric's.
I completed Andromeda the other day and then got Mass Effect Legendary Edition and played a bit of 1 and 2 and you know what... I never thought I'd say it but Andromeda was way better for me.
To that Cerberus shuttle - there are Cerberus scientist making experiment in Kadara wasteland trying to dominate mind of Krogan Asari and Salarian which is resisting and point you to them =)
Brandon Keener voices a turian in Kadara. I forgot who it was but I killed him. I nearly died because I was freaking out having Garrus flashbacks. I also swore I heard Steve Blum as another krogan
I’m recalling enjoying this game. I heard a lot of negativity about it but the only problem I have with this game is the lip sync and the eye sight, almost everyone has lazy eye lol
I think I'm actually going to start this game over because I think I ruined it. I'm probably more than halfway through it (level 26 I think) but still, I think it would be worth it.
having just completed a playthrough, I have to say, it was a pretty fun time. If you have to compare it to the original trilogy, you may be disappointed. that said, you can still have a good time with this game. it has it's flaws, definitely. such as too much fetching, and the Antagonist is a bit on the weak side, but overall it was an enjoyable experience. I think the many glitches and bugs, especially in the early release period, hurt people's experience. also, they expected more of the same as the original, when they should have allowed it to stand on its own. it is a shame that at least the Quarian Ark wasn't addressed. also, far worse games have gotten more support, so sad.
At one point in the game, you can find datapads from Kett studying the Milky Way species, and their notes on said species. Under Turians, it mentions that they have "reach and flexibility", which you'll recognize if you're a fan of Garrus :'-)
yes it was a line in mass effect 2 when Shepard came to talk with Garrus
The Arcon will also in one of the audio logs for the Asari he will mention Embracing Eternity the phrase embrace eternity used by Liara and Shiala in Mass Effect 1 when mind melding with Shepard.
Its been a minute since I've played Andromeda, but I remember finding a component called "Turian Calibrated Sensors" got a chuckle out of that one 😁

Saw the data pad but forgot abt garrus
There was another Star Wars related Easter Egg.. When the Tempest lands on Voeld, Ryder will say to Kallo "Want me to get out and push". Princess Leia said the same thing to Han Solo when they were trying to escape Hoth during the Empire's attack.
I actually really enjoyed this game.
Me too, Ok it wasn't that great than the original trilogy, but still it was a good game.
I ahve over 94 hours of play logged in it!!

About the Dawnstar comet; in the description you can also see that the comet is rich in nephrite (you can easily read that right here in the video even). Nephrite is more commonly known as... jade.
some of the sellable loot you can pick up include "Turian calibration coils", which is a really subtle but great easter egg
Honestly, no mention of the Shepard Shuffle at Sloane's party?
Hint: For better dance moves, get Ryder hammered first.
littlegrabbiZZ9PZA better dance moves AND he steals Slone's chair-throne
what about Conrad verners sister in kadara slums area come on guys that was fun as hell
TheShortkiller right!?! LOL
TheShortkiller There is also Zaeed's son on Eos
TheShortkiller YES. I laughed so much when my Ryder was talking to her xD
And in the museum on Aya the old statue/doll of an 'Angara' looks as much like a Prothean as the Asari deities do on Thessia, hinting at something much larger about the identity of the creators of the Remnant.
theres a possible Frozen easter egg on the ice planet voeld. cora mentions wanting a better heater to which ryder replies "let it go"
And Jaal says that the cold doesn't bother the Angara
Some more Easter eggs:
Knight's son Alain was the replacement to David for Project Overlord, but that was already known
It is a bit of a stretch, but Drack is actually Liara's paternal grandfather, which you can interpret when Shepard meets the matriarch/bartender in Ilium
Liara T'Soni knew of Project Andromeda when she became the Shadow Broker and might have even helped fund the project.
was the illusive man the benefactor? or was it someone like liars the Shadow Broker.
Peebee is a more annoying version of Liara with an Asari being obsessed with ancient alien tech
Vetra is literally a female-Garrus , Drak is an older version of Wrex
You have Liam and Cora that are the 2 starting human companions that no one cared about (Ashley and Kaiden, Jacob and Miranda, James and Kaiden or Ashley)
Jellal is the only unique and original Companion.
I have played Mass Effect 1 2 and 3 . I love how Mass Effect Andromeda connect the series
OHHH! Yes, I remember that!
"I had reach, she had flexibility". He uses it in, uh, two contexts. 😂
The Kadara shuttle is explained in a side quest, where you find two scientists who reference the group.
I found a NPC named Dr. Hawkins Macintyre. Totally a nod to MASH, Hawkeye and Macintyre from early seasons
If it wasn't for the loyalty missions, funny dialogue and nomad drifting I wouldn't of enjoyed the game
but almost all the world's you;re exploring have already been found. you're not really finding anything new. just griding
The storyline is more linear. ME:A in general is a good game, but I think they should've done better considering what they were working off of. The Kett are literally the Collectors without wings.
Here are 2 more: Garrus' father was voiced by Garrus. And there was a thank you letter from Red Jenny from DA:I as well. 😆😆😆
And Rensus' wife (1st murder mission) was voiced by Cassandra's voice actor from DA:I.
I found a kett datapad that said Turians have increased reach and flexibility
What about the box of Blast-O's cereal?!?
Rowan Tritton Yes! That was fun. :)
One of Jaal's 'siblings' is called Teviint, obviously referencing the Tevinter Imperium from DA.
I mean, there's always a chance that she wasn't cooperating with Cerberus motives or goals. just a possibility. because I don't actually believe they're the 'benefactor.'
side note, I absolutely love that this is the favorite plot thread among fans. as it should be.
Miranda says in ME2 that TIM is just the head of one of the sects of Cerberus. I would bet my life savings that The Benefactor is the head of a different sect, and that if MEA2 ever gets made (which I doubt will ever happen) Cerberus will play a big role.
You forgot the reference to the Mass Effect 2 Operation Overlord DLC in one quest chain...
There's a datapad on Voeld containing Archon's thoughts on the Milky Way species. The collected info on Turians mentions their superior "reach and flexibility."
Here come the haters who haven't even played the game... "yea bro but I seen the reviews and some gameplay... that had 2 minutes of bugs out of 100+ hours of gameplay."
i quit enjoyed me4 (better then 3rds ending)
And the award for the biggest idiot on this planet goes to..........Good Luck.
Congratulations, mate!
Good Luck so true
Bartosz Skorupa mate? What are you, some kind of homosexual? I'm not your mate.
I did play the game, to the end. And it got buggier as time went on.
I really loved getting the space hamster
OWN the game have played it as much as I could have, and love it !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The Cerberus shuttle may be old compared to Earth technology at the time of ME:A. But remember they were asleep for 600+ years, so technically it's pretty standard tech. Not old...
Just a bit of info for a discussion? I'm not sure you guys will agree.
what about the quarians message at the end of the game ?
Olin Salter YES!!!'
Olin Salter its not an easter egg, its as blunt as a blunt knife.... most likely setting groung work for a dlc/sequel
omri arielly or you'll be able to save them in andromeda 2 :P
Not an Easter egg, setting down the fact that they are one of the stories planned in DLC (which DLC began production the day after launch, but the stories have been organized for a while). Currently, they have zero plans to make a series in Andromeda, just this game and a book or three, and possibly many comics depending on their third-party comic people.
+MrKirbyXIII
I agree, it's not an Easter Egg, as it's kind of in-your-face and very clearly setting up DLC.
1:07 Garrus' voice actor is the voice actor of Garrus's father, I realized that
Thought it was pretty obvious Kandros was related to Nyreen, but who knew Zaeed had a kid or Conrad Verner had a sister or there are Krogan "geneticists' trying to find Warlord Okeer's lost data? Small touches like these make the game more palatable...for me at least.
Tieran Kandros even tells you about nyreen when asked
I think #3 is also related to a quest you find on Kadara involving some ex-cerberus scientists
I kept him, wonder what would happen if I released him?
and Conrad verner sister
Joefa Beats and Zaeed Massanis Son! RIP great voice actor!
Gabriel Gonzalez Sooo many Easter eggs!!
Is that the space hamster from Baldur's Gate?
Ðid anyone else notice Brandon Keener's voice as the narrator of the video your chosen Ryder character is watching? Couldn't have a Mass Effect game without Garrus could we?
The Cerberus scientists on Kadara, Talk about project Lazurus.
Liam ads a movie as an atachment in one if his mails, which is about a day that repeats relentlessly until everything has been done right. A nice little reference to the movie "And daily greets the marmot" (translated from German, it might has another name in English).
ySpartanX Groundhog Day?
There is also mission that revolves around the Overlord project known from the Overlord DLC for ME2
With just a few patches expanding on the main premise and maybe a DLC with some additional story content, it could have been a great game. But sadly, the devs just abandoned it due to some nitpicking fans.
#MEAndromedaWasNotBad
Pretty much all of the congratulatory e-mails at the end of the game are Easter eggs from every Bioware title.
You mentioned about the game being set 600 years after the original games, while this is true they left the milky way before the events of mass effect three so the tech and vehicles would be the same as the initiative travelled in cryostasis.
amazing research and memory combinations here. Thanks bro for the vid...
People can complain about the game, but you cant deny, finding out the purpose of the andromeda initiative is the one of the best plot twists out there
Wouldn't know. Intro of the game is boring as fuck
There's also a Calpernia and an Isabela email :)
Love this game, but some of the glitches are really annoying. Love the funny ones, not the reload game ones.
There is a comet called Jarofbees, referencing the Jar of bees grenade in Dragon Age!
Carver is actually IN Inquisition? Where.
I loved this game. I have 400+ hours on just this mass effect game. And honestly didn't experience a single bug
when it was released, it was chock full of em. sleepy eyes, being the main one. also, many complained about Ryder being a weak main leader, and the companions also doing dumb things, which Ryder has to clean up.
What about the overlord easter egg? Sorry bad english
Spy Games your english looks fine to me.
Did anyone catch the email from r. jenny and widdle at the end?
BLA BLABLABLA I did!! It was amazing!!!
good catchs am happy i saw them all by myselff thx!
My wish is that someday we can get to a point where we can read/watch instructional media on ME:A with it needing to be prefaced with: "Despite all the bad press..."
I get it, but the 15-minutes of hysteria about the game is over now. Can those of us left just get on with enjoying it?
This game is so *huge*! How is anyone supposed to catch every little easteregg!
Cerberus confirmed *play the suspicious music*
I just started playing this, i know I'm late to the party, and i absolutely love this game so much so i downloaded the first 3 games right from the rip.
C-137 is also a radiological isotope for Cesium137
How mass effect andromeda should have ended:
*Rick and Summer enters archon's chambers*
X GON' GIVE IT TO YOU... *punch kick*
To anyone who bought the Deluxe or above editions, have you been able to claim your digital soundtrack yet?
Yep
Trey2Da Nope. 😒
Trey2Da You don't even have to buy that version to get it, but yes.
Yep. I did have to look up how to get it, but I do have it now.
Caeleinn how do you do it mate? I actually like the soundtrack
It's likely already been mentioned, but I thought the nug in a stasis pod in that hidden room with a sudoku lock near end of game was funny. And the anomaly you find as the wheel of cheese.
There is also a little sidequest in Kadara that leads you to 2 Ceberus Scientists
biggest secret:
it improved a lot since then :D
Oh, And you didn't mention the sister of Conrad Verner or the son of Zaeed Massani.
sure it takes place 600 years later but the left the milky way right after the events of mass effect 2 and before the arrival dlc, and traveled 600 yrs in cryo to andromeda
I really think Garrus's voice actor did the voice of a Turian you meet at Sloane's party on Kadara he is the one that did something really stupid by comparing the Angara woman that he like to her sister. If it wasn't him the voice actor sounds exactly like him.
Dead ass it's a great and beautiful game. I know people bugged out when they saw that giant worm remnant.
I figured the illusive man would creep into andromeda somehow, that guy had a back up plan for back up plans.
when you scan in one system sometime an anomaly scan reveal a quarian travel ship wrecked
There's a rumor going around that Saren maybe Vetra's Father sounds interesting
Saren, was 44 in ME1, so, maybe. Though we don't know Vetras age, which I'd estimate at around 25-30
Liam talks about his Spidey senses too
It's secretly quite good.
seeing Zaeed's son was hype
the Cerberus shuttle on kadara there is a building with a krogan, salarian and asari being brain linked by 2 former Cerberus scientists i found it a few days ago
If "dense" means "thick headedly stupid" then I can agree with the opening statement.
Could also be seen as an easter egg reference to Samantha Traynor ;)
Star Trek reference: Kadara's bar Kalla's song neon sign looks like Enterprise's nacelle design from TWoK
The kadara cerberus shuttle makes sense since theres 3 ex cerberus scientists on kadara in the wildlands
I was a blind...Always thought does people who writes "first" were fools. But the urge when you see a clean, empty comment section with no comments...You just loose it...first...Now İ've found the answer to everything.Answers to the enigmas of millions of dimensions and universes...
Second.
julesmaester Well, he's only human.
That Derpy Guy elusive and illusive are different things
Malix Corvin I tried looking it up and I couldn't find a different. could you let me know what they are please
Sure thing. As long as you accept that you're in the minority
To that Cerberus shuttle - there are Cerberus scientist making experiment in Kadara wasteland trying to dominate mind of Krogan Asari and Salarian which is resisting and point you to them =)
The Critical Role, nods didn't make the cut?
Brandon Keener voices a turian in Kadara. I forgot who it was but I killed him. I nearly died because I was freaking out having Garrus flashbacks. I also swore I heard Steve Blum as another krogan
because you mentioned jade empire. jen zi thanks you as well another jade empire reference she uses the word radiant in her thank you
up, had to stop you at :38 "I'll be bach" for the remainder AFTER I beat the game. haha.
BTW with that comet- nephrite is a type of Jade.
How do you think you ruined it?
I'm amazed someone made it through the painful lowbrow dialogue
having just completed a playthrough, I have to say, it was a pretty fun time.
Touch it all you want. You'll never find out what it does. Challenge accepted.
I've yet to play this game. I've had it for a few years but now I'm waiting till after playing the remastered trilogy to try it out.
