Could be that he was also messing around with Sam. I think most people would be angry if someone was messing around with their sister and their best friend at the same time. Keanu needs to make up his mind with what he wants.

Phil’s beyond stale now. There’s no depth or intrigue to his character anymore. He’s just an ageing, unrealistic thug who thinks he’s some kind of Mafia boss. He drags down all the other Mitchells. Time he was put out to pasture. His comment about Chantelle was utterly contemptible.

There should be no reason for anyone to be scared of Phil, a short, out of shape guy in his 60s who has had major health problems, and who despite his threats is not capable of murder. It would have been better if the script had involved Keanu laughing in Phil’s face.
He is denying a child a father and Sharon a chance of happiness, even though he has Kat. How dare he!
Sharon and keanu won't work. One or the other would cheat. Phil doesn't want Sharon and doesn't want her with keanu because he still hasn't got over them together. He wants to be with kat to hurt Sharon. Why does keanu still want to be with Sharon? She's way too old for him
Can't stand Phil tbh when he's like this he always forgets he's cheated on every woman he's ever been with even Sharon. As for Louise. Phil forgets he actually paid Keanu to date her in the first place! Sam is also an adult nearly 50 she's she's a teenager lol
Tbf, Phil never cheated on Sharon as her and Phil weren't together at that point. He has cheated on however Kathy, Lisa and Shirley and not cheated on any of his wives bar Kathy.

@@doom999ish it makes no sense for keanu a youngster to stand his ground to Phil, Phil cannot be seen to look weaker then any rival it sort of goes against the essence of his character built from who he was in his prime, he is still top dog in the square and until he looks completely past it he should still be throwing punches and having the upper hand. OMG I'm getting tired of this s*it, Sharon and Keanu literally screwed up, and this is what was the root cause for Dennis's death, not Ian, now Sharon's forgotten about it and wants to start this all over again, Keanu should have been killed long ago, he's responsible for the mess, as well as the death of Hunter's mum because of Sharon's car chase.
