- Janine's lies finally catch up with her, as Jada and Scarlett's revelations leading to Mick realising Linda is the one for him all along. Unable to come up with excuses, Janine takes the car and goes on the run, but Mick and Linda won't let her get away!

I know I'm very happy that it happened and that it was Ricky who called the police on her as her Brother he knew better than most how out of control she had become.

How long will Janine stay in jail for perverting the course of justice if she is found guilty. She will be out in no time. Ultimately the only person harmed in the accident was that poor tree and the branch which fell to its death on the windscreen. I am sure it’s not the last we have seen of Mrs Janine Carter nee Butcher.

@@ssm1559 well she took their passports and they followed her and Linda and mick are dating now btw basically Linda crashed the car into the ocean with Linda in it and they were trapped in the ocean so mIck ran and got them and got janine and then went back to get Linda but Linda already was out of the ocean and he had know idea so he died because of the tide

What an amazing Christmas special!! This episode of EE was the first time (for me) that Janine’s villainous ways made her look less like the archetypical soap “bitch” and more desperate and unsettled than ever, it was actually quite sad just watching her unravel and blame her own daughter just to save face.
janine is just an awesomely twisted charecter played perfectly by Charlie Brooks .
Janine will always be an iconic Soap baddie!

I can’t see them killing him off. I’m glad they kinda left it open. Like there’s too many loose threads with Mick to just kill him off- katy, his abuse, Frankie (he’s only had Frankie as his daughter for less than a year), Nancy, ollie, the baby with janine, the other kids who’s names i forget, Shirley can’t lose Tina and mick in the same year. I feel like Danny Dyer wants to return one day. He’ll comeback with a BANG!!! Like Dirty Den. We didn’t see a body. We know something must’ve happened to keep him from going back to Walford & his family but he could’ve easily hit his head and been washed ashore & found by someone who’s nursing him back to health but due to the hit head he has amnesia & assumes a new identity. And then if Danny wants to return they could say something triggered his memory somewhere down the line & made him remember his old life but now he has 2 & that could cause conflict like he could’ve been found by a single woman they fall in love whilst nursing him and have a child and then he remembers and it causes a conflict between the Walford family and his new family. Idk. That’s what I’d write if he ever chose to return. 🤷🏻♂️

Janine's fate has finally come.
God Janine is The Queen Of Narcistic behavior. I would have loved for Erika Slezak (US Soap Icon) to have come on the show and play Janine's American Cousin who knows what Janine did back in the day. That would have been heavy. Erika's performances as Viki and her Alter Ego Nikki (she has dealt with multiple personality disorder) amongst other things and she got Seven Daytime Emmys for her work on One Life To Live.
