Dean is the new Frank Butcher in the regard he stands up to anyone despite their reputation.
Got to hand it to Dean he just doesn't care. Most people would be wary asf walking in a pub owned by a heavy weight champion boxer after being told to get out, threatened countless times and even got sent flying down a flight of stairs after a back hand but no not Dean 😂 he just walks in as he pleases with no care in the world.
I mean we've got to give it to him tbh, Dean is fearless against anyone, 1 jab from George and Dean is out cold on that floor and he knows that yet still continues to walk in the Vic like he works there every episode. Most people in the square would just stay away.
Gina being sympathetic to Dean all of a sudden is a very strange character decision from the writers. I don't get why she would at all care enough to potentially betray Linda by starting to doubt Dean's guilt & get all chummy with him but that seems to be where they've been hinting at going this week.
Honestly, I agree they are writing Gina as a shitty person since her arrival, to be honest.
I think she’s being written to be sympathetic to his daughter as she knows what it’s like to have an absentee parent who still wants to try care for their kid, it seemed with every storyline that it’s Gina who becomes the parenting 101 guide first with Freddie abt his dad then Jay abt parenting Lexi I like her character but they do too much to make her have conflict with her own family
@@battywingz I don't know, I think she went beyond that. She looked at Linda after Dean played the audio like she believed it. She also jumped in to stop George getting physical with him. She shouldn't feel any sympathy for him after what he done to Linda who's practically family to her now.
@@NoirFan84 That is true but I hope that’s cos she sees him as a trying father like how she did with Jay and not cos she’s developing feelings for him, that would be a little more logical for her character than her going from vandalising the place and almost disowning her own brother for being associated with him to trying it on with the rapist

to be honest Dean is actually a pretty ballsy guy he clearly got some of that from Shirley given he just doesn't give a shit about about walking into a pub full of people who hate him.

EastEnders is set in a fictional tight knit community! There are places in London in real life with small communities like that not unlike small villages in the countryside, they’re just surrounded by many other small and large communities too!
2:25 colin salmon is a gem of an actor. That "GET OUT!" should not be off screen.
Fair play Dean is vile and not a great fighter but he won’t back down from anyone, in his whole time on the show he’s stood up to grant, Phil, Sean, mick, and now George who are/were all top hardmen
He’s actually quite an underrated fighter.
What is Dean’s problem? Leave Linda & her kids alone.
My thing Dean wants to move on with his life but yet keeps on bothering Linda like he really thinks people are going to believe him even with that damaged recording
The writing is lazy. Phil and Ben could easily just tell everyone that Dean tried to rape their cousin Roxy (for the newer characters that never met her) and Dean's whole plan with the fake confession would fall apart in seconds. And have they all got short memories because surely someone should've mentioned by now that Linda wasn't the only victim of Dean.
Even if nish is the dead body, someone is going to try and kill dean soon. No way he doesn't get what's coming to him.

Dean is a scumbag but you have to respect the fact that he’ll stand up to anyone regardless of who they are. The best villains are the ones who don’t show any fear.

And frank had more plot armour even Phil and grant were never allowed to punch him, whereas dean has often been attacked but doesn’t give a shit 😂

I think so. George is a violent man but he doesn’t strike me as the type of character who’d intentionally take someone’s life.
The thing with George is that he’s probably so powerful with his punches that he chooses not to punch cause it could easily give them Brain damage. If It turns out George is better than Ravi than that means he could kill Dean easily
@@bbcsoaphistorian123also Anna said that he doesn’t punch people and then someone else brought up that he got in a fight in a bar and I think he got done for it so that’s probably why he backhanded dean instead of a punch
