Airline ticket sales just went up 28% from America to Latvia.( stat about 7-1 female to male population) I remember hearing folklore numbers about certain colleges back in the day with similar #'s! Guys were like, " I'm going there!" No idea if it was true.
Lol I was thinking the same thing Mac. Probably a great way to get male tourists to see if theres any truth to it

I'd love another haircut from a Russian barber. I had one on a cruise ship about 5 years ago and out of thousands of cuts, that was one of the best if not the best haircuts I've had!

I went here during my 2015 visit and had a great time! It has been completely remodeled and has expanded twice in size to that whole back area! That was cool when they handed me a glass of whiskey with whiskey cooling stones "cubes" in it. I didn't ask the price and was expecting it to be $35 as haircuts with this kind of treatment and taking more than an hour usually are. It was around $24 and they said not to tip.
I felt right at home in there. Wish they had one in Florida!

I never thought I would watch a barber giving you a shave and a haircut. It was therapeutic and Max was spectacular. He did a great job on your hair. I can relate to the course hair, it’s definitely from loosing the pigments. One thing that might help is get yourself some purple shampoo, it may make the gray more shiny and silver. 👍

Hi Terry. Loving this video. The brick roadways and architecture is amazing. Never have I been to a barber shop or beauty salon that served alcoholic beverages in the state of Georgia. I find it an interesting concept but I'm not sure it would go well over here.

Got 2 types of those drink stones in my freezer... Love them even in cola! Even in beer, keeps liquid cold and doesn't water it down. 😂

Im a bit of whiskey nerd, so the cold stones are old hat to me lol. Next i gotta get those whiskey glasses with the water in the base and you put it in the freezer. This way the bottom stays cold and you dont even need the cold stones.
Personally I like the ice because it makes it easier to drink lol.
@BarefootVlogger No argument there, but once you get used to drinking it warm/neat, you won't wanna go back. Mixed drinks are too sweet for me. I've had old fashioned's, Blackjacks and a few others but I didn't like them. Too sweet. They're like liquid candy lol. However, when I have it at home, I keep both the bottle and the glass in the freezer, so that's a cool treat.
The price that You say it’s sounds very cheap, cause my boyfriend went there around that year too and it was 50 euro. I think they asked half price of You cause filming is kind of promoting too..but yes, my man paid 50 euro for the same thing.

Terry has a very unique skill of interacting with locals as if they were life long pals. I visited Riga about a decade ago. People were very kind and polite but I can’t say I experienced as much open dialect as we see in these videos.

Nice hair cutting shop there. After a cut I head home for a shower loose hair under the collar about drives me nuts, I'm getting itchy just watching you there pal.😉
lol he had me buttoned down pretty good. Not a hair under the collar.
Baby powder and a round brush takes care of that very quickly. I've been cutting own own hair for 20 years and it's a miracle worker.

Fire all of the lame Jimmy Kimmels, Seth Meyers, Stephen Colberts, Jimmy Fallons, and their writers, etc. and replace them with this man! He knows how to build rapport, banter, interview, and joke at the moment at the level of Carson, Cavett, Conan, with a slight Ray Romano look and touch too! Everything he says is simply interesting to listen to and laugh along with! That bit on Henrik Lundqvist using his soccer skills to block puck shots with his helmet is just fascinating that this man is a trove vault full of incredible information that he can bring into any conversation. Like me, he sounds like he has a photographic memory because I'll bring up something with relatives, lifelong friends, and acquaintances and they won't remember the incidents and sometimes become angry at me.
