I totally get pearl is disappointed by RuPaul because since drag race started she pushed on self love and positivity but as the seasons went on you could see that it was just a persona.
2 years ago Pearl did a gig on my city and I got the opportunity to meet her, first of all her performance was out of this world, the most unique and original artist I’ve ever seen, truly an experience. And when I got to meet her, she was the SWEETEST most lovely drag queen, listened to everything I said with attention and I will never forget, she made that moment a beautiful experience for me
It utterly shocks me that people don't like season 7. For me, it's my favorite behind season 5 & all stars 2!!!

I liked the queens but the challenges were so badly planned that it didn’t let them really show a lot. Lots of unused potential. Like one of the last challenges was the Hello Kitty one, and Violet was the only fashion design queen in the werkroom by that point

Pearl single-handledly changed the entire way I look at RuPaul, now when I see him giggling and acting jovially I just think, 'yes bitch and as soon as the camera turns off, you drop that facade and your TRUE personality comes out'. He plays the Tim Gunn character in the workroom but only difference is Tim Gunn is a nice person on and OFF camera.

I am never less than Amazed by Pearl. Her gift of creating the feminine illusion is beyond next level. If I hadn't heard her speak I never would have guessed who it was. Only that I was looking at an extremely beautiful and classy woman that was absolutely seamless in her appearance. Another amazing expose Joseph.

you can see in her eyes the wisdom that she gained through dealing with her traumatic past, I’m so proud of her and as a 20 years old person that deals with his shit atm I really am happy to listen to her talking about her experience in life. there’s more to live for.

I'll say it again... RuPaul would not be as big as she is today if it weren't for the drag queens on drag race. I don't think it comes as a surprise that RuPaul is fake - she's never hidden the business side of drag. I don't hate her for it at all - I just think it's odd that Pearl got some hate even from RuPaul for saying what she said. That's the business - I don't think it made RuPaul look bad. If Rupaul thought the LGBTQ+ community thought of her as some angel having a show like drag race to only make the lives of drag queens better, here's the loudest LOL I've ever given :) It's a business but yes, how great that drag queens are able to ALSO benefit from the show's success. It's not because of RuPaul - the queens make the show! I wish Pearl all the best and I would come watch/support her anytime!

Pearl is SO perceptive, intelligent & soothing, on top of her aesthetic natural beauty in & out of drag, she's very relaxing & adorable. Like, as a super sensitive, nervous person, it's so pleasant to listen to her.

I'm screaming at her saying Ru is a very unusual behaved person. I can totally see that. I imagine Ru is very much like Tyra Banks where they don't believe in wasting their energy on the simpletons that make it on their shows til it comes time for the camera to roll. A lot of the same things have been said about the both of them. Now I'm just waiting for Gia to spill the tea on her "incident" with Ru during All stars.

John, you have a way of bringing out the natural qualities that Pear has in abundance. I really enjoyed getting to know her, and you, this was the best interview by far of any drag star. My only criticism is I wanted it to last longer....Mr Shepard well done.
I love how Pearl and Joseph can be so genuine. For me it's setting an example for how enjoyable life is with allowing oneself to be happy and sad as long as it's coming from a healthy place. Thank you Joseph and Pearl!

i love the tea spilling haha i was disappointed when in an Oprah interview RuPaul said: i only get dressed as a woman if i get paid...... i mean, all the time she exposed an environment of fun around drag and art and entertainment, and that comment on Oprah was very shallow
It can be an expensive career. And for many queens drag is what they do for a career. It's like painters who are often willing to do free paintings and art pieces for free or for charity, but so many painters would also like to be fairly paid for their work. The entire art industry gets taken advantage of and ripped off all the time. Same reason some queens complained about Todrick Hall using queens for his videos and productions but not paying them or showing much gratitude. The world can be ugly and so many people will use you for your talents. I can see why Ru is more willing to stick up for her work by expecting to be compensated for her work.
i really love watching him interview queens, he's ready, he knows what he's talking about and what to say, honestly one of my favourite interviewers
